Listen carefully for a minute if they go for my suggestion.

If not, check the look of the corridor. Any signs of damage, human occupation, fighting?

Open up room A and search through it.

The door to room A is already open and it has few shallow dents near handle. The room itself is largely empty. There's few fire extinguishers on walls and few more on floor, but otherwise the room is empty. Judging from number of racks on walls, here should be more extinguishers. About one third are missing.


"Hm. Everybody stop and listen for a minute. Don't make any sounds. What do you hear?"

Listen carefully for a minute if they go for my suggestion.

If not, check the look of the corridor. Any signs of damage, human occupation, fighting?


Sean already walked in, but he stops after you recommed silence. You try to listen carefully sounds of sea monster, but all you hear is gentle waves and seagulls on top deck.

You shut up and let real Dick determine presense of monsters.

Seagulls are loud and happy to see humans. Perhaps they are expecting you throw out fishes?

Salvage operation starts at earnest when Dick grabs one fire extinguisher into his posession. This one appears to be foam variety.

You carefully sneak to the corner and peek over. This doesn't appear to be room, but rather a hallway. Your view to further in is blocked by two doors that annoyingly open into hallway.


"Fire or something must have hppened. small chance that there may still be survivors. Perhaps two of us should grab some."
would go to room B

You take bravely few steps further in than Dick and find lonely inflated volleyball ball floating near door to room B. Looks like it was torn open violently.


Check Room B, but stay behind others.

Peeking behind Dick's shoulders you see pretty much same as him. Arvin follows you in and stops behind Sean.


From here you can see room C seems to have some lockers.

Damn those jesters, hiding your stuff! It took way too long to find your lovely shotgun! You run towards the launch deck and upon arrival find you are late. The salvage boat already left, dumped explorers and is now floating between ships. Oh well, perhaps captain can be bothered to let another guy in...

The launch deck is filled with people watching the ship and small host of seagulls that apparently have taken residence over there. Some are even talking about adding fresh bird meat into admittedly bland lunch menu.

Close both of the doors if I can and take in the whole of this corridor. Close any additional doors as well if needed. There's nothing quite as off-putting as an open door.

How rusty is this place, by the way? Does it look like it might have been underwater at one point.
