No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

"I want to speak with the manager!", is it? Or maybe it is only what I am reading into your choice of words.

Either way, inquiring into who would be able to give us permission, is a good move, one that I would support. As long as we do so in a civilized tone and manner.

On your approach to the assembled group  you overhear a portion of the conversation between the Ogre and the assembled Tuathé. They seem to be speaking a pidgin rather than any one established language, but from what you can gather the ogre has brought food and metal in trade for something very specific. It seems that the Ogre and the mailed Tuathé man are both on good terms from what you can judge of their easy body language and tone with one another. When you draw close another of the gathered folk -a woman with war-braided hair and a deep scar running from left eye to chin- gestures for you to hold your position and wait until they are finished.

The conversation draws on for several more minutes, during which it becomes clear that the Tuathé man and the Ogre have moved on to other topics, including news, family and mutual prosperity. When at last they are finished the Ogre -by now you have realized she is probably a woman- is ushered into the largest of the three huts by two of the Tuathé, and a third is sent running down the pathway deeper into the swamp. The remaining three approach your party and introduce themselves. The man wearing the torn mail is much less friendly with you than he was with the Ogre trader, crossing his arms and scowling when he sees your necklace, curtly naming himself as Cairbre. The scarred woman is a great deal more personable towards you, giving a welcoming smile and introducing herself as Gormflaith. The third is an aged thin-lipped man who says nothing and emotes less, introduced as Jarlath. With those introductions over Gormflaith takes over the conversation by giving a look into your cart and laughing musically. "If you've come in trade i hope you've brought more than... pots, you may come away with very little. Goods from the Tower are better liked when they are difficult to come by."

You blush in embarrassment and stumble over your words, and Gormflaith grins in delight at your missteps. "Well... er... You see, these arn't for... well... i'm here for..." You take a moment to clear your thoughts, breathing in deeply before continuing. "I was sent here on behalf of my Master, Saufelta Greytower, in order to acquire plantlife from the unique magically maintained ecology of the swamp for study and experimentation. I had hoped to acquire the blessing of your people before taking samples, the pots are for carrying them back for study."

Cairbre huffs angrily and mumbles something in his own tongue, which draws a sharp elbow from Jarlath who gestures incomprehensibly before pointing to Gormflaith. Apparently reprimanded, Cairbre becomes as silent as the elderly man, though he fails to lose his look of contempt. Gormflaith then speaks briefly to the silent Jarlath, again in their own tongue, and he nods slowly, though his lip twitches once before he does so.

That mysterious exchange over, Gormflaith returns her attention to you, again grinning. "Understand that the plants of this swamp are precious to us, one of our valued trading commodities, and so we cannot simply give access to them away. However we would be willing to trade for them. Either goods for goods, or if you prefer, we could ask you to work for the opportunity to gather them yourselves. In the latter case we would even give you some guidance. You could stay with us for a few days doing whatever simple tasks we ask of you and your companions, or if you would prefer the more expedient thrill of danger you could help a few of our hunters find and kill a dangerous beast that's made it's lair near here"
