Ok, right now I'm thinking of going with Baleckar or Viskesha. Everyone agree?

I think we should take a bath and look into our dresser, see if there is a robe in there, so we dont stand out too much.

After that, we should go to the librarian and see if we can make ourselves useful.

Schedule wise, this is what I'm thinking:

Work from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the library preferably. From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM we study at the library. From 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM we relax, maybe visit with other apprentices. We sleep from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Everyone agree?

-1. Let's wait for Aednat.

7:00 am to 10:00 am we talk to people around the tower for politics, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm we study, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm we have a break, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm we study, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm we teach people in the inn magic for money (we rent a room and charge 1 coin per person to enter the room), 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm we have a break, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am we sleep. We have so few breaks because the first bit is practically fun.

We talk to people that early when they're presumably less busy and we teach that late when people have presumably stopped working.

Also, remember, we have to be useful to the Tower.

Also, -1 to selling our services to the town. I dont think thats a very good idea.

Andre, we keep telling you Aednat isn't going to teach us, so no point waiting for her. Also no to selling our services, if the people her want to learn magic they have better ways than a new apprentice. We don't need money anyways, we get provided room and board from the sound of it.

+1 to this schedule, with the addition we take a couple hours befor noon to talk with any apprentices and find out what life is like here and the current politics. As for master choice, we should get a feel for the political environment first, we have a bit of time.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Why isn't Aednat going to teach us again?

Because she isn't interesting in teaching, just wandering the world seeking lost magics and tales. She just randomly chooses people with potential and sends them here, she doesn't teach them. This has been stated by the GM multiple times

About our Future Master, I would think Saufelta to be an interesting idea, actually. It reads as if she is a good teacher, and very competent mage. That she herself is unsuited for field assignments, only means that we might get to do stuff for her on the outside. Which is to say, we bring her more worth, than an apprentice who is only able to keep himself busy in the library.

For similiar reasons, I would think we could, or potentionaly even would, become "a dagger" for Viskesha. With the decisions we have choosen in the past, this would be somewhat of a 180° turn in personality. While tutelage under the dark elf sounds challenging, it might not be good for us.

Masik sounds to be somewhat close to our stock, actually. If we want to mainly get along with our master, he would be the one to go to.

About our daily schedule, first and firemost:
The morning hours are perfect for study. Why should we use them for servant's work? That is a waste of our time, potentional talent, and the whole reasoning behind this place.

As it was already mentioned that our skills as herbalist seem like an asset to the bronze tower, I think we should definetly expand on that.
If we want to be choosen to go on missions during the course of our career, I also would recommend that we do keep our bowman-skills intact.

Tenative Schedule
Wake up at 6:00
Magical Studies in the Library until 10:00
Bowmanship & tads of Spear-Training untill 11:00
Practical Herbalism / Gardening untill 12:00
Eat and Rest until 13:00
Theoretical Herbalism Studies in the Library until 15:00
Magical Studies in the Library until 20:00
Until 22:00 we converse with our peers, possibly about politics

Our study time in the afternoon, can easily be replaced by lessons from our master-to be.
If there is any shooting range or whatnot, I either think we should use what they have stored there, or wrap our bow and quiver in cloth for transportation, as to not giving other people the wrong idea.

Why isn't Aednat going to teach us again?
What Tyrar said, only to add - even if she would stay at the tower, she would not teach us. Why would a University Teacher explain the basics of his field of study to someone who doesn't even know the first thing about it? That's a waste of his time, until the pupil comes close enough to his level of expertise.

Ahem.
Adabelle has apparently taken the liberty of having a list written for you detailing all of the mages currently seeking First order apprentices.
It would appear this is a list of future colleagues in which case I would personally go for Masik and Viskesha. Masik would be a good friend to have for protection whenever we go on assignments and we can use Viskesha for help with politics and to avoid becoming a target of his. Additionally I agree with Lurker's schedule although for herbalism (as in collecting) we should dedicate at least half a waking day every week or two in order to collect things that aren't just growing directly next to the town.

Er... First order was a typo, meant first circle, shall fix that. Jehundik is indeed currently a first circle apprentice.

Sell our sword and get a spear.

why?
Because we get a bonus to using spears and we don't get a bonus to using swords. There's no reason to not replace our weapon.

Oh, right. Keep in mind we can't carry weapons inside the tower without a good reason.
