They have an app for that I'm sure. Kevak, if you ever go stark raving mad just take it out on the goblins not your fellow dwarves. Or humanity.

Hey, if we can figure out how to do that, you better bet we will.

By armok the madness spreads. Have you not heard of raining magma?

I just think that would be fucking awesome to see.

Language young man..girl..wolf..trap. it makes me sad :(

You explain that you are peaceful folk with little in the way of experience on the field of battle, and that the soldiers look more than capable of dealing with a bandit rabble.

The soldier smiles sadly, almost mournfully. "I am inclined to agree. But as you are peaceful folk with little you can do to defend yourself, as travellers passing through the Lord Merran's lands you enjoy the safety he has extended over this territory through his own benevolence. As the soldiers protecting these lands, and therefore the travellers that travel through them, we must ask for a contribution to aid us in further driving the savages from these lands and keeping the peace. If you would please turn over your bags and coinpurses we will extract fair recompense, though you need not worry, we will not leave you with too little to survive as travellers. "

We need supplies. But these guys are extorting us probably. We have achieved critical failure mass. Send in the girl. (didn't we bring her along for the specific purpose of diplomizing so we don't have to?)

We may have to fist fight them...Or worse.

Edit: what if we offered our herbal services to the fighters? We'll make healing slaves, herbal soup, and poisons for the the enemy.

Seeing as you've lost control of the situation you ask Veila to take over speaking with the soldier, who sighs deeply, clearly aggravated by your delay.

1d20= 18
Veila steps forward, hands up in a gesture of peace."Neither we nor you want trouble i am sure. We're just peaceful travellers, not likely to cause trouble or be of any harm to anyone. Just let us go in peace and you will be able to return to attending your own affairs."

One of the soldiers draws his blade when your companion finishes speaking, and you notice Maergor visibly tense and ready his spear. The lead soldier however, snaps at his own man. "Enough! These country bumpkins have wasted enough of our time already. I doubt they have anything of value anyway. Lets continue to the farmstead and be that much closer to being done with these local backwaters." At that the soldier turns to you, "Continue south until you reach the road, that's the edge of my lords territory. I don't want to see you linger here, or bothering coming to Fish-Fork for supplies. Everything available is needed for the war effort, and i won't have our people helping those who refuse to contribute. Now go."

With that concluded, the men ride away, leaving you free to do as you will, and free for Veila to curse the name of the "Smug Cunt."

Well, let's do as they suggest and not linger here. Time to GTFO from these lands and ignore the village

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

+1 for same schedue. We'll do a bit of hunting of our own. Do so quickly and quitely. The soldiers will most likely be busy and we'll need the food for later.
