Kill.. well, yeah.. Wound it with Fire!
How about a fan of flames, about as straight to it's maws as we can get it? If we get the spell in, this might distract the creature. Or enrage it even further... Either way, we have scant options, and this one seems the most promising. I mean, at that distance, drawing our bow another time will leave us wide open. Taking our spear, if even Alafard was not able to inflict serious damage to it, does not bode too well either.

We've still got our sharp steel knife, so we should cut out the guy who's being crushed by the thing.
It is up to 3 Feet / 90 cm thick. Just imagine cutting almost a meter of muscular flesh with a measly knife. Even a heavy, two-handed axe would need to be in the hands of a very skilled user, to accomplish this feat. While I do agree with the sentiment of not leaving the lad to die, we have little options to help him right now, safe for slaying this beast as quickly as possible, or inflicting enough pain on it that it releases it's hold on him.

Maybe using fan of flames where the beast is holding him?

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

The face is the only vital point that we can locate, so any attack we can direct there, should prove most effective on it loosing its grip. Just compare the imagined pain of being hit in the face with, well... being hit in your leg? But really, imagine that:
It had it's eye gouged out by our arrow. That got to hurt, plenty even. Still, Nathuaige's charge did not falter in the least. Unless someone is foolhardy or suicidal enough to spear its maw, we can't really up the pain-ante. Hence why I proposed that slight gamble of using magic.

If we kill it without getting the guy out first, we might not be able to cut him out of the dead muscle before he suffocates. Getting the snake to release him itself could be our - possibly only - solution.

Back up as well, then fire a fire arrow, aiming for the inside of its mouth, hoping that it will go through the roof of the mouth and into the brain.

+1 if we can get in a quick fire spell in afterward though that would be good.

How about Fan of flames (if its stronger than fire arrow) and try to save that guy by cutting him out with our knife.

People. The creature is a number of meters away from us. Saving the guy is not a priority when we lack teleportation.

Killing it will save the guy.

If hes a distance away then yes leave it be and focus on the creature. If we can kill it with our fan of flames quickly enough then it may save him.

Rather than relying on the arrows and spears that have so far failed to fell Nathuaige you turn to your magic. Amidst it's charge, as it draws close you throw up your hands and jet flames out away from them both straight into the gaping maw of the creature. Though you fail to set the creature afire it's flesh still withers under the flame, even as the spell sputters and dies faster than you had hoped. Though the actual damage you do is minimal it allows one of the hunters the time and distraction he needs to jam his spear firmly into the bottom of the creatures jaw, and it's painful writhing only impales itself further as the spear erupts out the bottom of it's maw. The hunter loses his spear, but another grievous wound has been inflicted, and the creature has been delayed from attack. Gormflaith fires another arrow, but again the damage it does is minimal.

From Alafard you hear a great war-cry, a call for the glory of the tower. As he comes back into view you see him wade into the swamp, giving the dropped spear of the trapped hunter a mighty throw that lands into the back of the Boar-Serpent's Skull.

Nathuaige gives another great cry and writhes and thrashes in pain. Dangerously it snaps it's jaws and jabs it's tusks out at those in front of it, though without precision, only acting in pain. You and the hunters duck and weave out of it's range however, though as a parting gift it's tusk gives one of the hunters a deep gash in the meat of his arm. As it's thrashing grows weaker it becomes clear that the monster has entered its death throes.
