I don't mean to be That Guy™ but I've heard that Mei hates Junkrat for some reason. Like, full-on. Meanwhile, the Junkers are practically canon already! Join the party, man!

She does.  She doesn't like bullies (and seems to think he's a creep).  He's also, you know, essentially the Joker.  So most characters don't like him.

Hell, I see the room for shipping, but Roadhog doesn't seem to like Junkrat.  At least on the face of it.

Doom Marine is balistisexual, that is, attracted to guns.
Also, Dawn Of War characters are highly sexualized examples of masculinity. They clearly spend a lot of time preening for each other.

I still think Mei's short should be a detective going to a corrupt coal company or whatever and trying to figure out why everyone has been gruesomely murdered by some kind of icicle killer.  Interspersed with flashbacks to how the fight started.  You never get to see the actual fight, Reservior Dogs style.
