The stranger, now no longer threatened, would turn his attention back to the Skalewyrm. Apparantly he is absurdly fascinated by it.

[Right, so, while all the roleplay pleases me, it does mean I end up having to scan a few pages for updoppable actions. In future, would y'all be so kind as to put things you feel need to be dealt with by update in bold? It would make my life easier. I realize Hache is using bold text as his quirk, but fonts or something would be fine as well.]

The light in the staircase, while better than that where you found the stone, isn't very good either. The lump of rock is about a centimeter thick, four wide, and six long, with scalloped edges. It is perfectly smooth on one side, bar what seem to be scratches around the scalloping, but the other is quite rough with what feel like some deep-ish cracks or grooves. It's all very unreflective, black as a hole in the world. The strange massless inertia of the thing doesn't help.

The speaker from earlier notes, casually, that it finds your continued confusion about the whole "six" thing amusing, since you asked a question and it immediately gave an answer, however vague.

The Skalewyrm has calmed down considerably, and, seeming tired, is settling down for a rest wrapped around a large stalagmite, scarred by heat and restless living steel. The thing's feathers articulate slowly, locking together and cooling until the beast is barely visible against the gray stone. One glowing eye watches The Stranger's every move.

"So this one is a new, improved repeater rifle..... *other guns* oh, this ones my favourite. Quite  a way to go yet, but when it's done, it should fire lead bullets with extreme power instead of _{exploding in your face} errr...... misfiring
