Here's our map!

The world map consists of 257x257 world tiles.

World tiles are huge, and holds 5x4 region tiles in each single tile.

Each region tile holds 16x16 local tiles within its tile.

Last, local tiles hold 48x48 travel tiles within, which are equal to 5 ft each.



So, it is MASSIVE, probably bigger than Earth. Enjoy.

Awesome! Thanks. Anyplace look good for a starting town? Preferably within a day's travel of a dungeon. (I only have a week's worth of rations, and it'd be unfortunate (albeit hilarious) if I starved to death on the journey out.) Could you put up the world history? It'd be much appreciated!

Alright, that's probably best. In terms of story, I was thinking that the characters all take the same job, one asking for a "brave hero" to do _________ (insert mission here) in a nearby dungeon and decide their chances of getting fucked by whatever spawn of Satan is living in said dungeon is far less likely if they stick together. I've already got most of my character sheet done, except for the part on saving throws since I couldn't really figure out what I was supposed to do there. I was reading the manual last night and it said you couldn't wield a sword, a shield and a lantern at the same time which is bullshit because you totally could if the shield (or the lantern, heh heh) was strapped to your arm.

Umm, I don't really know much about spells so I'll leave it up to your discretion. I remember one of the spells was "ventriloquism," which would TOTALLY come in handy!

Oh good! Ventriloquism doesnt change the sound of my voice, unfortunately, because I would have chosen that if it did.
Insteat, I chose Light and Magic Missile. Both of those can be used in combat, and given my 1 HP, I'm gunna need them....
