Right now there are only two main forum titles, Escaped Lunatic and Bay Watcher. Why isn't there more forum titles? Also how many posts are needed to go from EL to BW?

This is the DF suggestions area, and technically there are four.  Toady One is "The Great" and Threetoe is "The Natural".  But yeah, take this down to the GD boards or something, this is for suggestions about dwarf fortress.

As for why there are only two titles available to normal members, it helps avoid  creating a forum hierarchy where people with higher postcounts get to feel like they're part of an "in-club".

It's something that's easily changed anyways, so someone that wants to be involved in the community wouldn't be an escaped lunatic as involvement means you have to post. Plus it's pretty sketchy with escaped lunatics joining in on certain activities like giveaways and such, but I wouldn't consider that as discrimination.
