I don't think double advantages are a thing.
It would have been more hilarious if she dived out the tree and splatted her face on the ground

Old and cringe account. Disregard.

There's something you should check in the game thread. 5e is fuuuun.

If there's anything in particular you've got in mind for Juno Janu, let me know. I'd hate for Samara to kill off a plot coupon.

Oh, not really. :P

She really only wants to escape. If she's killed, you might lose a bit of odd information on the plot, is all.

I'm judging it in plot way reaction on either...

A. You kill her. Samara has completely cut off her past from Glimmerpeak, and what's nothing more to do with them aside from dodging assassins.
B. You spare her. Samara is not completely done with her past, and still has lingering issues. She may yet have some business with them.

C. She gets knocked out and I screw up the DM's plot. :P

By the by, that Shield is not my turn. It's last round, in response to her attack. With PBP there's not necessarily a good way to do it without either a laundry list of conditionals every turn or me knowing when Samara would be "wasting" it, since I'm not particularly keen to set things up to burn spell slots without explicitly deciding to or to have foreknowledge of whether the spell will help. It's the one big downfall of the format, people can't interject with immediate reaction actions. :I

Yeah, I had the same issue in my other game.

The GM is a real weirdo, but I eventually managed to get him to agree to using it intelligently, which I would do here-if you prepare it in your action, you'll automatically use it on your next turn, IF it actually prevents damage. I would even obviously use it on the highest damage attack, if possible. I figure you'd want to negate any attack, tho, with yer low HP-you can just have the decision to ready it on a turn or not. Makes it a bit simpler.

Hey, I have an idea on what to do with Janu! Since Akira can message a connection to the criminal underground why don't we arrange for her to become a criminal?

Also, I SHALL TAKE THE PANTS AS MY TOKEN OF VICTORY!

Okay, for this instance are we counting it as having blocked the dagger or not?

Hummmm.

I'll allow this time, then, due to clarification of rules. I would really prefer you ready it on your turn, so I don't have to rewrite the whole thing from....Samara's Dying...oh, no, not she's not!

Like I said, I'll use it intelligently-if you're about to be KO'ed by that hit, I will use it always, for example. If you don't, I'll have to use my best judgement to let things go through or not.

I'm not sure what you mean. For reals or just incriminate her?
