It's not selfcest if one you is a woman

...Yes...it...is?
Yeah, the fuck did you think Selfcest means? :P
It is, assuming you already are a woman. If you have a different set of parts, it isn't totally you, in a sense. So it isn't selfcest.
Take none of this seriously, please

Shouldn't a Persona technically the same gender as its user though? After all, since it's a part of the user's mind, it occupies the exact same physical body as them, it simply controls an additional physical entity (which the user themselves also control) under a highly specific set of circumstances.

No. As far as I can tell, male characters can use female persona. I mean, why would it? Kiroshi is certainly closer in appearance to his Persona then someone like Karma is, gender is a pretty small difference compared to species. From what I can tell Persona seem to be more like Pokemon then whatever you think they are  :P. At least from a gameplay standpoint.

I thought Elf had said someone's Persona is some sort of menu federation of what they want in life, so it would make sense for Kiyoshi's to be an eligible female video game character.

Yeah but is that persona really female though? I mean, normally it's just a part the person's mind, sure the physical form it can control can be, but that doesn't necessarily mean that part of the person's mind exits their body outright.

....Hiroshi is kind of a pathetic guy.

Anyway, we all know I have no clue what I am talking about and you would be a fool to listen to a single word I said. If you don't care about spoilers, just check the wiki. And the Jungian definition, just for fun and extra confusion.

Persona 4: Naoto Shirogane is a female but her personas are Sukuna-Hikona(male), Yamato Takeru(male), Yamato Sumeragi(Could be either, but has the title Emperor) and Amatsu-Mikaboshi(Male in the same way of the Cloud of Darkness from FF3 is female). She is a crossdresser and is called the Detective Prince.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

I'm not as familiar with persona 3. (persona 4 was my second Shin tensai game after Devil children. Then it went Lucifer's call, Shin Megami Tensai, Digital devil saga, If and then finally Persona 3(fes).)

I think I'm being misunderstood here.

I know that the summoned physical forms of the persona can be a different gender, but would that form really be considered to be the persona's gender? Because if a persona is a part of the person's mind, then wouldn't it also technically share their regular physical body?
