The British Empire has had a recent lapse of confounded interest in what had just occurred in the Hanseatic Republik, and is currently analyzing the state of affairs at the moment.

Forces of Hungary have moved into Venetian area. The battle was bloody, short and possibly marked the beginning of the end of Mediterranean League. Unfortunately, the valuable fortifications all suffered numerous breaches and destruction; they will have to be rebuilt.

Another offensive had three armies from Lithuania and Western Belarus attack Southern Poland, but the Prussian forces refused to even budge.

In preparation for switch-over, soldiers in Southern Finland embarked on newly constructed RKS Frankfurt and few smaller vessels of the fleet, ready to set sail soon.

Then, German territories, as well as newly-acquired Aquitaine, were fortified, using supplies from allied traders.

And finally, promised lands went to USSR and Hungary.

Mediterranean League:

League armies had to give up on conquest of Sicily and prepare for some meager defense of their mainlands. Rome was fortified and an academy was built in Neapol.

Britain accepts! As well as sending a formal letter to the USSR about their...policies.
The people seem to be gladdened by the recent economic upheaval done by the leadership--given the sudden and totally unexpected shift of broken treaties by Hungary and the USSR!

The Byzantines prepared to move their offensive toward League's lands west as fleets were created and the one finished last month sailed into Aegean, its sailors enjoying the sights of thousands of islands.

A new military HQ was constructed, while an academy and railroad extensions deeper into Asia Minor promised economical progress.

French soldiers rushed to reclaim Aquitaine; after few days of fighting, the province was secured, albeit few train bridges were destroyed during the offensive.

Message relays were constructed all along the empire--business and the manner of life was as the usual; the regular gap between the aristocracy and the commoner was still evident, but not tangibly as it was emotionally and in belief. The country underwent an overhaul, and the many letters and mail moving by the streets and houses brought word of how the armies were doing from the front--the notion of fair treatment was a very efficient one, it universally seemed. The support for the leadership was going well, and the ministers overseeing the Empire were productive in their capacity.

That was, until correspondence letters were exchanged between the USSR and other nations and the invitation of the 3rd Army of the Hanseatic Republik into British soil. First-hand, the people could infer the stories from the front judging by their condition (and the notion of an open-city in case of any trouble bordering the North Sea coastlines).



Naval:

> Fleet at the North Sea, head to the {English?} Channel

Army:

Issue a declaration of peace to the USSR, along with treaty propositions of either Research or Trade to their decided benefit, as well as a future promise of tech {Diesel Fuel} if they agree to the peace treaty (and possible alliance), and go through with it.

The same promise of tech goes to the Hanseatic...Soviet Republik, Prussia and France as a gesture of appreciation towards the maintained alliance.


((The British Empire is amused that in the Diplomacy chart, they are both at war with and at alliance with the USSR. Conspiracy theories about the USSR's attacks on the Hanseatic Republik revolving around an extremist faction rather than political intent circulate among the masses.))
