How many MG do you want? You could easily fit 1-2 at the front and back and 3-4 along both sides. Use AP ammo to sure inside the ship since incendiary ain't gonna do shite to a metal warship.

You'll want the modded version which is basically just a longer barrelled version for increased range. Probably dual barrel as well for volume of fire.

Take the MM1911 that we currently use, increase it's muzzle velocity as far as possible, remove the pan magazine and replace it with a 100 round box magazine. Work on increasing it's accuracy even at the cost of reducing the ROF as far as 500-550 from it's present 500-600 if it can't be increased without it.
Include a bipod on the bottom.

If this project is a success then take the new weapon, design a dual barrel version, give it 200 round box magazines and increase it's barrel length to 30 Inches. Build a brace into the bottom so it can be bolted into place on ships rails or on other vehicles.
If the above project meets with any problems then ignore this project and focus all efforts on the above.

Get Ivan from the council to help me with this and as many normal engineers as can be spared.

(( 2 Ballistic engineers are better then 1 and any normal engineers that I can get will help as well, since this is going to be used on the Patrol boats, Bigger ships, planes, subs, tanks and probably every other vehicle we create other then the mobile AA as well as 1 in 10 infantry carrying it then it seems like a priority.
Our entire armed forces will be using it.

Plus once it's cracked out I can get into the 20mm AA gun and the Light artillery piece which is basically just going to be an AT gun. ))

Guys what do you think about getting our weapons made for us in other countries until we have assembly lines running.

We could trade the blueprints for say my enhanced MG to the UK who could produce the 6000 to arm our infantry in a year easily in exchange for them creating them and shipping them to us for a small amount of gold.
At least until we can get a factory up and running to produce our own in high enough quantities.
