Your eyes come back into focus. You seem to be seated at a table, a man in a blue suit seated to your right. Some distance to your left is another table, where two more men sit. There seem to be stands against the wall before you, in which sit five people wearing uniforms of some sort, and you can hear the susurration and occasional muted cough of many people breathing behind you. Everyone you see is staring at you expectantly, especially the woman in the black robe sitting in the elevated podium, who seems about to call out your name once again.

The bead of sweat reaches the tip of your nose. You still do not remember why you are here.

Attempt to recognize the man in the blue suit. Is he G-Man? Are the people in uniforms Combine?

We don't even know why we're here. I don't think that makes much sense. -1.

You do not recognize the man in the blue suit. Unlike the others, he does not seem to be staring at you, but rather frowning at his hands, with which he fidgets, squeezing one thumb with the other. His dirty-blonde hair is combed neatly to the left, but a few stray hairs lie across his forehead, plastered by sweat.

The five people in uniform wear dark green, most of them with various badges pinned to the right side of their chests, and caps that hide their hair. So expressionless and composed are their faces, and so stuffy are their uniforms, that you cannot be sure if they are men or women, aside from one on the very right, who has a moustache and glances away for a moment at your gaze, and the one in the middle. Despite the supreme composure in her face, you think you see something in her eyes that unsettles you. Hatred, or perhaps simply disappointment.

We don't even know why we're here. I don't think that makes much sense. -1.

The layout of the room very heavily suggests a courtroom due to many factors. Considering "we" seem to be sitting on the right side of the room its likely we are the defendant in which case stating our disability, however temporal, will not only quickly let missing information be stated but also open possible defense strategies.
Edit: We seem to be in a martial court. We are probably a member of the armed forces. Also we may have killed someone.
