Wow wow wow don't get all pissy.
I meant no insult by the statement, simply that a hand's opinion on cloths is probably rather partial.
Also don't take me for some conjourer of cheap tricks, I know my way around necromancy, for that is the basis of my noble status!

At lease you,as a hand, look sensible. I encountered a whole mad naked undead fellow a ways back and boy was he not something you would want to see under any circumstances.

I mean, the necrosis

Then you are excused. A fellow necromancer is free to go about his business, though I would recommend the transcendence of clothing.

And, yes, an apprentice of self-necromancy can be an embarrassment to himself if he believes he has attained perfection long before he really has. Flesh, ugh. If I were him I'd have skipped that stage.

Hmmmm
*Cryxis snaps his fingers
A small cloud of black and red mist poofs from the ground and quickly disperses giving view to what looks like a skeleton in butlers clothing.
Cryxis speaks to it,"Would you mind fetching my good cloak? I feel this meeting may take quite awhile"
And with the last words uttered the skeleton butler poofs away this time in a cloud of black and purple mist.

I don't mean to cause any offense, but as non-necromancer, I don't really see the appeal. Immortality seems alright, I guess, plenty of time to master your abilities and craft magic items, but spending it as a fleshless hand doesn't sound like my idea of a good time.

Let's not forget the prevalence of anti-undead spells and weapons. Hell, even simple healing magic can hurt you, and Pantheon-forbid someone decides to cast Resurrection on your ass. Or hand.

If you really want immortality, ascend to godhood like I did. Just be prepared to have domain over some really odd stuff.

Pray tell, what is your domain? Is it fish scales? Perhaps its fallen leaves

No wait, I already met a lady who was a self proclaimed goddess of fallen leaves.

Why anyone would lord over that is anyone's guess though

There's the one a few kliks from the fort that I am holding a nobles party at.
You probably won't have many migrants since there is an almost mountain home next to it but meh, you can have free reign over the graves and refuse piles if you want. Dead gobbos and dwarves don't appeal to me as good servants

I'll be joining my fellow necromancers here. Undeath can be quite helpful if you know how to pull it off. Especially lichdom, if you can find the right phylactery.

Changing the subject, anyone know of an abandoned castle or fort I can take hold of? It doesn't have to be very big and menacing, I just need something to get started.
A necromancer in need of an abandoned fortification to set up in? Of all the... you have access to huge amounts of essentially free, tireless labour, and no worries about safety standards. Why you no use this?

Most necromancers grow bored or get attacked before they can build their own castle. At least the ones starting out.

I'm sure you know that as a necromancer gains more power they gain more labor, so obviously once they pass a certain point they CAN build their own. But it takes a few dozen years to achieve that.

Oh man, need some help here.

Accidentally summoned a pain minister instead of an undine and I really need ideas for a suitable container before he subjects me to 'pleasures of the flesh'. Puzzle boxes traditionally work, but have you tried finding one at this hour!?!

Please advise

Perhaps you could use an urn with a gemstone to seal it?
