Oh, also if our previous assumptions are correct, this area is probably related to AWESOMEMANCY in some way, and should be red on the map. And Larry theoretically is a MANCYMANCER of ESOTERIC ECHELON 3 since 3 green diamonds (the symbol of MANCYMANCY shown in the loading icon) appeared as he was casting.

Should we just have a standing action to check the map whenever we enter a new area?
