Sanders has been polling well against Trump since pretty much forever. I'm fairly certain he has more actual vote than Trump too, although granted the Dem field wasn't as fractured.
 

So now, Trump's tweets aren't against Lyin' Ted, they're directed at Crooked Hillary. Seems like his new strategy is to convince as many Sanders supporters as possible that the system is rigged and to give up on Clinton.

He's got a point.
And on the off-chance that the strategy does work, I can't see the American public choosing Bernie "Not-actually-socialist-but-still-derided-as-socialist" Sanders over Trump.

Democracy that doesn't give one the result one wants is no democracy a sensible and civic-minded citizen should want to be part of. Someone needs to perform a revolution and then make sure that in the new system the government counts only all the correct votes.

The government could even institute contact courses at our new political education initiatives for making sure you always vote correctly (providing verbal and physical incentive) so as to further true democracy. And then incentivize correct voting with such things as reprieves from citizen relocation programs (to Alabama or Texas, for instance, where there ought to be much room for extra population after the new government addresses their political education with the firmness we would expect from a true democratic system).

No, satire is dead and everyone is secretly coming up with silly nicknames to reinforce the mystique of their real choices as much as possible. Hilly Flinton, Bummy Sandy Bumsters, Dolan Tramples, Tom Cruise, Sir Kellogs. The more esoteric and confusing the slurs against them become, the more politically 'nuanced' their platform becomes, and that's the person that wins. Cruz was hanging by a thread with the Zodiac Killer thing, but that got ruined by his wife. Kasich's name is confusing enough on its own to carry his vote so far, but Drumpf is the clear establishment winner. Meanwhile Shillary has been made a peacock in comparison to Bernthestablishment Sandhillcranes. Just solved politics, everyone can go home.
