I really have no words for this level of ignorance. He also still hasn't explained what things 'that are a whole lot worse than waterboarding' he would bring back.

Not sure what kind of consensus would be required to change the geneva conventions, but he would certainly meet a whole lot of resistance. Although the conventions aren't particularily well enforced anyway, from what I know.

Trump wants to outlaw abortion, and put women who have had an abortion in prison, he said in an interview with MSNBC

Hillary Clinton responded by saying that a person so woman unfriendly as Trump should not be allowed anywhere near the White House.

A bit later Trump, realizing the damage he did with the female American voters, he adjusted his statement, and said that not the women, but the doctor performing abortions should be put in prison.

I really hope he doesn't get elected, because I don't want war with the US. I mean, Trump'll start torturing, be captured and brought to the ICC in the Hague, and then the US will have to invade the Netherlands to free him :P

What I've heard is that this was a misquote following something of a setup question designed specifically to make him look bad.

Though admittedly his general pro-life stance is one of the things I'm not too thrilled about.

Trump gets himself into that mess with a refusal to actually state a position on a simple yes/no question.

"I'm speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I've said a lot of things"

His very good brain doesn't help him when it comes to answering the clear implications of previous things he's said.
