And you can bet your sweet ass that the association 'feminine ~ weak' will be played a lot, especially when it comes to foreign policy. Maybe she could use that to her advantage though, what with women supposedly being more diplomatic and all.

This is drama student level of identity politics, Hillary's mastered it fully and since Queen Elizabeth I has this not been played
(Do they teach the history of Elizabeth in USA?)

No, if they're going to attack her on this they're going to strike for her influence by Bill and the troops killed in Benghazi or the use of public email by someone whose job is security

Lol the Thatcher image.

I'll answer your question with a question, do they teach the history of Abraham Lincolin, George Washington (outside of maybe a little on the Revolutionary War), and Teddy Roosevelt in Britian?

And you can bet your sweet ass that the association 'feminine ~ weak' will be played a lot, especially when it comes to foreign policy. Maybe she could use that to her advantage though, what with women supposedly being more diplomatic and all.

The republicans already call her past foreign policy work as being weak and ineffective without resorting to the feminine association. That and they see her as a continuation of Obamas policies, both foreign and domestic.

Well they see Obama as weak too. Except when he's being an iron-fisted Imperial Antichrist tyrant. But a totally weak iron-fisted Imperial Antichrist tyrant. I mean, he hasn't even sacrificed one baby to Allah yet! Worst. Villain. Ever.

I thought that was implied in what I said.

Anyhow, hard to tell for sure how much stronger Hillarys foriegn policy would be other than obviously more hawkish because as seceretary, she'd have to go with Obamas foriegn policy even if she had other ideas.

Which, inevitably, will lead to accusations of flip flopping (as if there isn't plenty she already flps on to accuse her of).

Yeah, cause remember when Obama said, "Damn, y'all are some racist motherfuckers" and then Republicans everywhere were demolished? Good times.
Yeah he only Lion King'd his way pass mass surveillance and dead Yemenis, if he weren't weak he'd exploit the fuck out of the race card more than just getting involved in every Friday's black man shooting

Our history is your history, your modern history is not ours

Nah we're not British, we're a melting pot of various immigrants and some natives.  Seriously, actually.

Nice rebuttal, I agree.

Much more likely for Clinton to use identity politics to make herself immune to criticism and demolish Repubs as misogynists though, whereas Sanders can't pull any such cards
Wait now I'm confused

Wait, *facepalm* I was thinking of this Elizabeth: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_II not https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_I_of_England lol

To actually answer your question, depends on the school and the curriculum I guess? There wouldn't be any in-depth for general elementary and high school history classes unless you took something that is during the time period or European history.

I'm not talking people or demographic changes, I'm talking country - state

Wait now I'm confused
Step 1. Accuse someone of being misogynist, even if by proxy through news editors
Step 2. Spread ebin memes of it
Step 3. You have already won

Only el teflon juans can stand up to this cheap and powerful ammunition, and the shitstorm it creates when fools take the b8 is enough to ensure neutralization at least until your term ends

I was confused because you were saying Hillary might play the gender card, but also that her gender wouldn't be a weak point for criticism.
In retrospect, there's no contradiction there.

also we're not your state, friend

Riiiiiight. Cause he totally pulled a race card to defend himself from all those racists concerned about dead Yemenis.  ???
The people he's catching heat from over shit like the NSA and drone strikes are almost, but not entirely, *unlike* the Confederate flag-waving, wifebeater-wearing rednecks that revel in racist attacks on the President.

Sanders doesn't need cards. He can just SHOUT LOUDER and make glaring mistakes in his speeches, and nobody calls him on either one because he has OLD MAN PRIVILEGE. (Also white privilege, but so does Hillary)

I assume either Hillary or Bill Clinton (or a vast right-wing conspiracy ;D) are to blame for everyone calling Hillary Hillary, rather than it being "because she's a woman," because, for example, nobody calls Elizabeth Warren "Elizabeth."

P.S. Someone missed a glorious opportunity to post Pandaren earlier:

You don't pull it to admonish others, you pull it to rally your own around yourself and attack. Hillary gets this

That's pretty weaksauce. Especially considering how many people call Sanders "Bernie", or Trump "The Donald" or Bush "¡Jeb!" (including his own campaign).

Shit, her own campaign logo is a giant "H", not a giant "C".
