It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Rand Paul Challenges Bernie Sanders To Hour-Long Debate On Socialism vs. Capitalism

I would love this, but I don't think Rand Paul is relevant enough outside of Kentucky (where he's #1 in the polls) for Bernie Sanders to care.
plz plz plz.

rand is my spirit animal.

But seriously, from a non-election point of view, that'd be an awesome debate. From a election point of view, whoever "wins" would get a big boost.

The thing is that while people can and do change (no Jesus necessary), nobody seems to be able to corroborate his past.

Edit: That was at RedKing.

It'll never happen anyway, because the democratic party will never sanction it. The democrats had to agree to only participate in their sanctioned debates or else they lose invitation to future debates. Granted, at this point it might be possible to push it for someone like Sanders. The field is so narrow on that side, it would look a little bad if they kicked Clinton's biggest competition out and remaining debates consisted of Clinton vs. O'Malley. Might as well just declare Clinton the winner now officially and be done with it.

used to like Carson and Bush, now they're seeming more and more like crazy fucking assholes

I'd love to support Christie but concerned GOP citizen soldiers already did the job of kneecapping his campaign back when he was getting popular, and there's no point backing a dead horse

At this point Rubio is my horse in this race, as he seems to be the most sensible of the bunch

The words "Rubio" and "Sensible" don't really belong in the same sentence :P

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

If you want to vote for a moderate conservative, you choice is Hillary Clinton.

This came across my FB feed so don't assume its legitimacy, I even checked that twitter page (which actually exists) and couldn't find it, but suspect it was taken down since the post there now is a generic "our hearts and prayers go out to..." thing. I couldn't seem to find gerard's reply on his twitter either. So if anyone can confirm this is total internet hooey please do.

Now having read the above, you may look.

Look at the date, it was when the Charlie Hebbo shooting occured. Yeah, so definitely real, but it was not Trump's response to the current tragedy.

EDIT: I googled to find some Trump etc comments about the tragedy but the first thing I ran into was a literal wall of Ann Coulter tweets mocking the French/liberals for having the attacks happen, and cheerfully stating "Trump was elected president tonight". She didn't utter a single word of sympathy for the victims mind you, it's more like a gleeful extreme right-wing series of twitter rants. Well, no more to be said about her. She used to get publicity by shocking people, but "Ann Coulter said something outrageously fascist" has become so predictable that everyone stopped listening.

As for Trump, here's the story on his Charlie Hebdo tweet vs the current tweet. He learned to keep his mouth shut on that one.

Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle on the US presidential elections.

Quote
"Donald Trump, who at best looks like a plughole in an orangutan sanctuary, is probably only running for president because this dimension doesn’t have a Superman he can give a hard time to. His hair, looking like a slovenly, postcoital cat, is actually one of the least weird things about him." (...) "Somehow, I always imagine that Trump spends the evenings with his forehead pressed against the cold glass of an aquarium, talking telepathically to the tormented albino squid in which he has hidden his soul."

"tormented albino squid in which he has hidden his soul."
Frankie has a particular talent for poetic dementia. What's he done recently?

Good question. It's hard to tell at times. I think he's spending time with his family a lot and living off his success, giving to political causes and doing a gig every now and then, though he has been writing a regular column for the Guardian, so that's something. I think he recently did a few things that may still be on BBC iPlayer but I can't remember what they were.

At first I didn't quite get this:

Quote
"Unfortunately for her election prospects, Hillary has never quite learned to introduce humour or compassion into her speaking voice and on a good day sounds like an android trying to trick the last human out of a bunker."

But after a while I realised just how astute that observation is. I can't think of a better way of describing what it is about her that makes me feel uncomfortable.
