My favorite untranslatable word is “Neko-Neko” from Indonesian, which means "someone who has creative ideas that only make things worse". You can combine that with Japanese "neko" = cat for some fun imagery of stupid cats running around stuffing everything up.

Portuguese has some good ones too. Desenrascanço is my favorite, meaning the ability to cobble together solutions on the fly with whatever's on hand.

Or more traditionally jury-rig. (jerry-rig is actually a bastardization of the earlier terms jury-rig and jerrybuilt). The difference in meaning is that yo jury-rig is to put something together on the spot to account for an emergency (it's a naval term for spot repairs), whereas a jerrybuilder is someone who deliberately tries and passes off shoddy workmanship.
