Did you try PRINTMODE:TWBT_LEGACY and see if fullscreen works? Its not supported by the GUI, you have to write that by hand into the data/init/init.txt

everything on defaults meph, and its probably the sdl bug, however playing in full screen really isn't an option when i want to mess with therapist and whatnot.

on further examination it does seem like it fulls screens but wont change to the active window. because when DF loads DF Hack loads too and is "on top" of the fortress window, but the fortress window is full screen'd... nice little conflict.

If you don't know what I mean, it probably works in a completely different manner than my sleep-deprived and code-illiterate brain thought it did.

I think I know what you mean.

You can have any number of different installs of dwarf fortress, it's not the sort of program that makes any changes outside it's own directory. Your operating system has no real idea that it is even installed. Masterwork comes with it's own binaries. Unpack it to a different location, and you can have it and vanilla running at the same time.

What? I have a perfectly functioning unzipping program, but Masterwork is in a .rar format, and my crappy, mac version of winrar sucks alot. Therefore I need MW in a .zip format.

Ever heard of Free Arc? Its much better than WinRar and 7zip in my opinion.

Another option is Jzip, I use that since my computer also hates 7zip and screws up every download.
