We can defeat Monsters with Ancient Historian Pressure points, Dragons with our finely tuned angelic martial arts... but a herd of lowly bandits? CLEARLY that is just far to tough for us.

There were a lot of them! And we defeated them with economics, which is to say, they took all the gold.

I studied every day, learning even more about economics.
(Economics +25)

KINGDOM REPORT:
Tax System: Terrible
Agriculture and Farming: Poor
Foreign Relations: Excellent
Kingdom Defense: Excellent
Kingdom Faith: Excellent
Culture and Education: Excellent
Infrastructure: Terrible
Ecology: Excellent

1) Improve the Tax System. (Current Economics Skill: 70)
2) Improve Agriculture and Farming. (Current Agriculture Skill: 35)
3) Improve Infrastructure: Roads, bridges, public buildings, etc. (Current Geography Skill: 92)
4) I took some time off for myself, doing nothing to improve the kingdom.
