Changelog:
XP (power boost for our purposes) is gained from fights at 500 multiplied by the number of turns, with an additional 100 times the number of turns gained from victory. Saiyans have half this, as they have a chance at a flat 2000 Zenkai boost if the succeed at the Zenkai roll.
Zenkai rolls are done by multiplying a roll times 1000 to determine how low your power must have gotten in order to get the boost.
Both of these apply only to fights between named characters.
If a battle round has to be skipped, it will be a filler brawl, for XP purposes.
Training always expends at least 250 power.
Notes:
'Yelling' (ie. Charging up), if it is the only action, may restore power in battle.
Find Vegeta and swear fealty to him.
(2) You are unable to find Vegeta, and wind up expending 750 power in your search.

XP: 5 turns *500 + 500 from victory: +3000 to maximum
(4) You manage to figure out that it would take at least 50000 power to achieve your second form. Your training during this raises your maximum power level by 750, at the expense of 250.

(3) You manage to accurately find out where the first Dragonball is located upon the map, but you are unable to get the proper leverage at your power to take the directions with you. You do find out where the Dragonball on the Northern Archipelago is.
I'll go with Xantalos. However, I'll stay vigilant in case he betrays me. One wrong move, and I'm blasting him.
XP: 1 turn*500: +500 to maximum
(6) Your vigilance over Xantalos is at a point of sheer paranoid, whic causes you to accidentally believe that him slipping off the slab when he tried to pull the directions off instead was an attempt to crush you into the wall. You launch out a Ki burst that expends 500 of your power and deals 1500 damage, as well as destroy the directions.
Rest somewhere, try. To regain Ki energy.
XP: 5*250: +1250 to maximum
Saiyan Zenkai roll: (5) You wind up having gotten a Zenkai boost from that fight that increases your maximum by 2000.
(4) You wind up finding a safe area to rest, and restore your Ki to 14000.
Find someone to fight.
(5) Your search causes you to wind up coming across Gohan and Krillin, after expending 1000 power. Both look upon you in fear. Your maximum power will increase by 1500.
Battle #3: Mutt and Steve vs Cui

("A fair opener I must admit. But it was not enough! Now you shall fall to my special technique: Barkaio-ken!!)

Double Energy Wave (1000)

(6 v 6)(4 v 4) Mutt uses the Barkaio-Ken to rush Cui, as the alien uses his Bomb Strike to attempt to rush the dog at the same time. They wind up colliding in a detonation that throws both of you back, and deals 1000 power of damage to each of them. Steve attempts to strike Cui with a Double Energy Wave, but the attack was thrown aside by the explosion. (3) Mutt does not fall out of Barkaio-Ken.
Battle #4: Lye-bos and Android 69 vs Vegeta
How bout this, guy. If you can catch it, you can keep it.

(3 v 5)(4 v 1) You attempt to throw the Dragonball out of range, but Vegeta winds up getting off an Exploding Wave attack before you can throw it, which deals 1650 damage to your power! However, Lye-bos is able to dodge the attack, and while Vegeta is attempting to grab the Dragonball as it falls to the ocean below, manages to use the Kaioken, reaching level 3, raising the human's power to 33000! It becomes apparent that Vegeta heard the technique, as the Saiyan paused, stunned. The Dragonball falls to the ocean below.
