If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

We are warriors not generals.

There is nothing to stop us from one day being a general, should the need or chance arise, and a firm understanding of tactics is a boon to any soldier.

Also, based on the update made while I was writing this, it seems people of today reject the methods of old out of ideas of honor instead of pragmatism.  This is good.  Should the need arise, and we be allowed to lead, we can crush them beneath our feet.  If we appear honorable until that time, so much the better, for they will expect it all the less.  Further study should be undertaken in this area.

But for now, let us close our books and meet with the others.

Lets talk to Fenya in the garden. See if we can pry some information about the politics around here and how her mother runs the land here.

Also make sure to say goodbye to Redford.

Pry, no. Maybe slowly lead the conversation there. . . But, we can also show more intrest in her. Maybe in her intrests, maybe. Or in her fears. Fears are a good subject. Though, if asked about ours, we can merely reply that our fear is doing something foolish that sets us back, again. And. . . Well. . . .I am sure that one last makeout session wouldnt hurt. Immediately.

We should also ask about how her mother feels about us. But do so carefully in case someone may be listening in on us. Just make it known we wish no offense and don't want any trouble.
