If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

Lets apologize, we dont need to cause any more trouble, and we're already past the date of our appointment. Best to know when to bow down, leave, and to search for an inn after visiting your horse, but perhaps not the rose.

"I am Honso Lutz, a talented squire, and I fear I am very late for an audience with the good Sir Fallworth due to problems of a very personal nature.  If the lord is sleeping, I shall come on the morrow to meet with him after we have both received much-needed rest."

If by chance Sir Fallworth is awake, ask the guardsmen if the good sir has time to grant an audience to an up-and-coming squire.  Otherwise yes, agreeing with Ochita: check on our horse and make sure it is still safe in the stables and pay for a night at the inn.  Rest until tomorrow.  Contemplate the nature of our likely still-present insanity.

GUYS, WHO ARE WE TRYING TO SQUIRE TO???
((Please quit it with the caps.))

My name is Honso Lutz, son of Armin Lutz, servant of King Albrecht VII and the God in the Sky. Sir Fallworth has asked for me an interview about my talents earlier today, it's quite urgent else I wouldn't be here at this time of night. This is very important, please let me in that I might deliver myself to him with haste.

Stand up straight, be confident and noble. Speak in an even and unworried tone.

Actually I like this much more.  +1, though I am also requesting that we consider what caused us to say those remarks near the church.

We do not despair.  Our destiny is pre-determined and nothing can force us from our rightful course.  Check on our horse and get a room at a cheap inn.

In the morning we shall inquire about martial tournaments in the area: our superior combat skills will showcase our worth to potential lords, including Sir Fallworth.

As for the brand, it certainly distinguishes us from other squires.  We could either try to hide it or use it to our advantage.  I say we capitalize on it and imply that having defeated a demon makes us stronger in both body and soul.

Approach the insolent guard. Given your very selective memory, I don't believe he has given any such order. Now hear this plebe.. You'll open that gate, or be wearing that pig-sticker up your arse. I suggest you go with the former, I like to take my time when gutting swine, and I wouldn't want to keep the Sir any longer that I already have.. Place a hand very gently on the handle of our sword.

I suggest we check on our assets, the horse and the room at the inn. Chances are the innkeeper is gonna say our time is up, and probably won't want to deal with us due to the brand. I also doubt he'll give us a refund, but never hurts to check. Either thank the guards for their time or just give them a wearied look, doesn't matter.

"No milady, I am merely looking for an inexpensive inn in the area.  Would you know of one?"

If she does not, just go back to the other inn and rest.  Seriously, no need to spend so much time on this.
