Put a PokeBall down on the ground by the frog.

Turn to Kuunokuu.

"Well, it's their choice."

Turn to Kuunokuu.

"Well, it's their choice."

(20+2) Kunoku says something to the frog and the frog happily touches the pokeball and claps as he goes inside!

The purple frog was caught! Give it a nickname?

The only wild pokemon left here is the brown fish that seems to be swimming around looking for something (or someone)

Walter's tackle strikes Roland, dealing (23-6=17) damage! Roland shakes off the attack and growls! Walter, though stands firm, seems phased by the attack, lowering his attack!

"Go! Tackle!"

Walter used tackle! He misses entirely. Roland uses the momentum of the attack to scratch at the mudkip! (7) His attack hits, dealing (4+6+10-?) damage! Walter has taken a heavy hit and is injured!

Aurelius vs. Karlos

"End it! Tackle!"

Walter lands a blow on Roland! He deals (22-6) damage! Roland gains an injury! Roland attacks! (10) Your attack lands, dealing (7+6+10) damage! Walter faints and gains another injury!

"Damnit! You got lucky!"

Aurelius wins!

Bjorn walks up to the last three of you.

"Excellent battle, all of you. Here, take this. It's a few collapsible old rods we found. I hear you got an errand at the lake. Give it a shot! You'll never know what you'll find."

The party obtained the old rod!

"Come on guys, lets head back. I'm sure the professor wants to hear from us soon.

And you three may want to catch up with your friends."

You both part ways and head towards the party. You make it there without running into more wild pokemon. You all see the brown fish still swimming there.

Charles listens to the pretty comment and lifts his finger to correct and then "Nevermind"

Go towards the otter slowly. If it seems it is about to run away, stop to consider options.

Sorry about that Claire. I wish I could explain to you, but I don't quite understand what's going on myself.
Anyway. That's a lake Pokemon caught, that just leaves a forest Pokemon.
I walk a bit away from the lake and the otter to wait for the others.

((For the sake of logic, I'm going to say pokeballs are like the ones in Pokemon Adventures with clear tops if there's a pokemon inside of it))

It looks happy and smiles! It seems to like the name

Use the old rod to try and haul the fish.

You use the old rod with a shoddy lure already on it to try and hook the fish.

The otter is gone. Excluding the brown fish, there is no wild pokemon left in this area
