"Out of the way!" Jesse roars as she just starts running towards the nearest wall. As her fist rears back in preparation to smash into it, green spirals begin streaming out from her arm. A larger, teal spiral covering her whole arm seems to rein in the smaller ones, focusing them around her fist, before they begin spinning fast enough to stop being visibly spirals; simply streams of color surrounding her arm as she hits the wall, strength increased a hundred-fold.

Jen readies herself, and blocks the grapple attempt with her shield, and manages to stand her ground minus sliding a foot or so backwards.

Ao sweeps her leg underneath to attempt to trip Jen onto the floor.

Jen is tripped, and now curled up under her shield completely.

Ao just bowls her onto her back and starts pounding on her with his fists- specifically, controlled blows to the side to make her open up.

Jen kicks out straight at Ao, in hopes that he'll catch it.

He doesn't, but the sudden lack of support for his blows both knocks Jen down and sends Ao sprawling.

Jen stumbles to her feet. She stares down at Ao before tossing him his practice saber.

Ao stumbles up, grabbing the saber.
"Far more of a challenge than I imagined, but you were fighting a drunk opponent."

"Thas what ya be fightin right now."
Jen grins.

Buki's leg takes the hit and he curses, hitting the floor AGAIN. He curses, trying to think of how to beat this girl... He'd probably have to use some... not-quite-legal tricks... But this was a sparring match, not a boxing ring, and anything went on a battle field. He took a moment to catch her breath, which she'd likely take advantage of.

Reina sucks in air for a moment, still reeling from the blow she took. The file was right about this kid, he's not to be underestimated.
The moment passes, and she readies herself again, smirking slightly. He's hit the floor twice, and me only barely once. Mom taught me well, eh?

"You gonna get up? I know it's unladylike to hit a downed opponent, but I'll do it if I have to.

Buki chuckles, green energy gathering around him. "You should have already hit me." The energy flashes brightly, potentially blinding the sniper!
He stands quickly, aiming a quick punch to her jaw, which she would likely block. What she PROBABLY wouldn't see was the second fist composed of spiral energy trying to ram itself into her gut.
