Jef is sleeping on one of the desks a small puddle of drool has formed next to his mouth.

"Good day, class." The man adjusts his glasses.
"My name is Mr. Oda. I will be teaching you a second course of history, which Ms. Furukawa will not cover, as at the end of the year, you will have two exams, one on her course on Ancient Grecian and Roman culture, and my own course, on 16th century witch hunting and the politics and religion behind them.

Before we begin, does anyone in the class know anything about the concept of a witch hunt?"
The matronly music teacher stands up.
"My name is Ms. Kotobuki. I will be your Music teacher for the rest of the year, and I sincerely hope we may get to know each other better.

Today, we will start by learning about music theory. Please, pick up your tablets and start searching for the appropriate texts in the Music section..."
Politics, as always, is taught by Mr. Sakuraba, the headmaster.

Haruka picks up her tablet and begins navigating through the menus.

Sakura raises her hand. If called on, she says the following, speaking slowly so she does not stutter.

"I think a witch hunt was a search for witches, as the name implies. Mostly, they were done by the Roman Catholic Church, who believed that anyone who seemed strange or could do things others could not was a witch or warlock who had made a deal with the devil."

Mr. Oda does indeed call on her.
"And what was the punishment for being a witch?"

[Twinwolf]

"E-Execution. The most well known method was burning at the stake, but there were o-others."

"And what of the estates of the deceased?"

Blinking and rubbing his eyes, Kyo got out his tablet, less than happy. While he did like music, last night had been bad enough that he didn't think he'd got any real meaningful rest. He groaned lightly.

David sighs. He... didn't like Music THEORY, but the music itself was beautiful. He picks up his tablet and looks for the texts regardless of him knowing all there is to know about this kind of stuff.

[Twinwolf]

Sakura thinks. "I-I can't remember that, sorry."

Moe levels rising

Haruka is of a similar mindset. She never actually read much music, and most every piece she knew was learned mostly by ear. Still, she knew a fair bit about theory.

"And what of the estates of the deceased?"

By this time Jef has woken up, and just hears this question. _{(and about the topic (cause otherwise this means nothing... (NOTHING)))}
"Oh Oh! Pick me Pick me! I know!" he exclaimes.

Kei raises his hand to interject. "Excuse me, but was the burning of witches well documented?"

He keeps sketching, trying to hide the glances he's making at Suzu's stump

Suzu is immersed in checking her physics notes, and again does not (or chooses not to) notice this.

Ryu snaps his notebook closed as the bell rings and looks toward the front of the class, waiting for the teacher to start the lesson

Mr. Oda does indeed pick Jef to answer, and then after that, he allows Kei to interject.

After Kei's interjection, he turns to Sakura.
"Well, was it well-documented? The burden of proof is upon you now."
The texts are easy to find, and easy for the likes of David and Rin to understand.

Akemi just stares at them with a horrified look.
Mr. Sakuraba nods.
"Today, we will be discussing the differences between the concepts of right-wing and left-wing political parties."

((As the only thing I've studied out of these is the aforementioned witch hunts, I take no responsibility for being wrong here.
