"Yeah but I find that takes a lot longer. And It's a lot harder to get the detail you want without making your own parts"

"Mmhmm."
Kumori has recovered and throws a few halfhearted punches at the bag, but the adrenaline high has died down and she decides to go and get some food instead. She retires to where she got changed earlier and starts changing from her sweat-sodden clothes into her dry, if not clean, school uniform.
Maria continues swimming. That's four lengths.

"What do sort of fiction do you like reading?"
"Ah, the customisation. I remember people like that..."

"Any fiction. Fantasy is good. I'm quite interested in folk tales nowadays."
Kumori unties her hair and puts her scarf back on.
Seven lengths.  Maybe I should speed up.

"Yeah. Plus, it feels good to be able to look at a beautiful piece of machinery and say 'I made all if that'"

They're almost near the town now. Suzu keeps an eye out for the quaint little cafe rumoured to be tucked away here somewhere.

"So what do you do in your free time?"

"Usually hanging out with people, who then figure out what to do all day."

[Adragis]

"Hold on, shouldn't we leave the classroom?"
Kumori emerges, and immediately makes a beeline for the girls girls' dorms and her stash of beef jerky.

[Rhodus]

"You don't ever do anything that you want to do?"

[Adragis]

Maria conpletes ten lengths, and starts just floating around and seeing how long she can hold her breath for.
After a while she tires of this and goes back to change clothes.

Yui nods, but keeps running. It's obvious she will afterwards.
