Haruka seems to have forgotten neither of them are actually capable of doing either. She hasn't, she's just very embarrassed.

"It's ok, Haruka. Maybe I'll spare your soul~"

"Look, neither is sneaking up on innocents and biting them. Even more so if they're asleep. If someone allows you to it'd be fine. In fact, I would probably do that. Unless I died." Haruka pauses. "And I was merely saying that blood wasn't hard to reach, not that good people would use the methods I described."
Maybe I should join the debating club.

((I succeeded a d20 roll for Haruka being a vampire but that's too unrealistic :L and anyway this is a very weird discussion))
"I'm merely making a point," says Haruka, deigning to ignore Ryu for the time being, "and anyway, if I had to bite someone, I would ask a family member, or a close friend. If all else fails I would hand myself over to science. Unless they were going to dissect me."

"Now now, you two."

"If you really need to. I doubt you do, though. If you could turn into a flock of bats I'd know." Haruka sighs. "But Kei, we're about to make out a scientific discovery!" Haruka giggles a little.

"No one should be biting anyone"

"Yeah, but seriously. Biting is not good unless it's vital to our continued survival. Why are we even talking about this?"

"Because someone thought I was a vampire fairy queen?"

"Hey, that was a joke. Anyway,  we should probably stop. I'm lucky there've been no passersby!"
