David sits next to Madoka. He looks into her eyes, unsure what to do.

"Ryu, you don't have to work so much. Lighten up! Enjoy the sun and save your little projects for later, when you don't seem so antisocial doing them."

[Rhodus]

"But this is how I relax. Designing and building prosthetics is my hobby, and I enjoy it a lot" He keeps sketching, the vague shape of a forearm prosthetic emerging

"Right... Okay uh..."
David sits next to Madoka. He looks into her eyes, unsure what to do.

Madoka looks at him, waiting.

[Adragis]

"Well, would you care to talk me through it? Share your hobby with someone else?"

[Rhodus]

He laughs "Yeah most prosthetics nowadays are made by machine. They still have to be designed on an individual basis though. The sizing and proportion to the future owner is one of the most important aspects of a limb. I make all of my limbs myself because they turn out better. If you know where to look, you can see clear differences in handmade and machined prosthetics, the former being more curved and sleek, while the later is usually designed with harder edges and corners, so that it's easier for the machine to cut the plates"

[Rhodus]

"Right... Okay uh..."
David sits next to Madoka. He looks into her eyes, unsure what to do.

David leans forward and gives her a light peck on the lips. He's blushing.

[Adragis]

"Hmmm... how do you get all the circuitry and that, though? Seeing as it has to be able to understand neural signals and all..." Haruka is clearly fairly confused by all this. "And anyway, I was sure machined things would be better and more accurate. Care to explain?"

[Rhodus]

"Technically, yes, but only a human can pour his heart and soul into his work." he scratches his head, struggling with how to phrase it "Sorry about the vague explanation It's kind of hard to explain it to someone who doesn't do a lot of this type of work"

Madoka blushes profusely.
"H-huh?!"

[Adragis]

"I think I get it. A machine has precision, a human has versatility and true intelligence. I find the same thing with piano playing. A machine can produce pieces no human can play, but one person can play with more feeling than an army of machines." Haruka laughs. "This is starting to sound like the final speech from some play or book."

"Do you understand me, now?"

Madoka holds up her finger....and then faints.

"Plus if you work on a limb by limb basis like I do, you can take pride in the fact that each limb is unique"
