Suddenly, a great comet is spotted overhead, on a collision course with the world!
Everyone runs for cover, and even the carp hide under the embankments.
It blazes into the atmosphere, glowing brighter than the sun, sure to devastate the landscape for hundreds of miles from its impact.
As it dips into the lower atmosphere, it begins to crack and fracture, then suddenly shatters into a dramatic explosion of gifts.
The blast is dreadfully loud, arriving significantly after the flash of the explosion.
