PTW

(Holy lime juice Albion! This has become a lot like a Warsaw Pact vs. NATO showdown. East vs. West. Relentless force of numbers vs. superior mobility and control of the sea. Very tense, even here on the spectator's bench.)

Well no, just like in the real Cold war, Albion has as much manpower as I do. More now.

I'd like to transfer E.tank technology to my allies in exchange for some radios and planes. I hope it's now clear why I needed those.

I'm not going to get into a discussion of which real-world bloc had more deployable conventional assets in Europe in 19XX, but here's how things are looking in this game right now:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
As you can see, I'm thinking of the entire Loyalist vs. Rebel conflict, not just Albion vs. Russia. Despite the recent setback, the Rebels are only slightly behind in total units and have a significant lead in armies. Since the Rebel players have not moved yet, their actual numerical advantage in ground combat is bigger than these numbers reveal.

While I was compiling these numbers, I discovered two discrepancies between the map and the stat table as posted by Sheb. Every time I count the French units, I get 12 armies and 4 fleets, but in the table they are listed as having 19 units total. For the Ottomans, I only count 17 armies and 2 fleets, but the table says that they have 20 units total. Where are the errors? On the map, in the table or in my head?

NOTE: I have edited this post, including the numbers, several times. An incomplete version was posted by mistake, so I had to write the rest in a hurry. Sorry about that.

Iceland

You build a second navy in Iceland.

Spanish Empire

You attack Madrid from Galicia. Just like old time, except you were the one hunkering behind Madrid's massive walls.

Code: [Select]
3+2 v. 3+4
Spanish army destroyed.
Albion wins the battle.

And just like old time, Madrid stands.

Deliver plans for Radio Communications to Russia, while Primitive Aeroplanes and Military Aircraft go to the Spanish.

Declare War on Albion

Army from #80 to #82
Army from #76 to #80
1x Army from #22 to #76
Army from #42 to #23
1x Army from #22 to #24

Propose Trade Treaty to Russia, or Ottomans; whomever has an empty slot, really.

State of Prussia

With Russia being overrun by Albionese soldiers, you have no choice but to grab a piece of your ally yourself!

Code: (Battle of Belgium) [Select]
3+2 v. 1+4
6+2 v. 3+4
Albionese army destroyed!
Prussia wins the battle.
Fortification destroyed.

You got Belgium! Luxembourg and Northern France are open to you!

The Ottoman war machine rolls onward.

Troop Movement:

1x 32 -> Fleet -> 48
1x 32 -> 34
3x 34 -> 35
1x 35 -> 45 *
1x 38 -> 46
1x 41 -> 44
6x 44 -> 54
1x 45 -> 44
1x 45 -> 46

1x Aegean -> Ionian

Create 1x Fleet in 35 on the Aegean *

*I can move an army then turn it into a fleet, correct?  If not, ignore the starred troop move and use that army instead.

Construction:

Railroads in 43, 44, 46
Academy in 45

Diplomacy:
Propose Trade Treaty to Russia, or Ottomans; whomever has an empty slot, really.

The Ottoman Sultanate accepts the Trade Treaty with Prussia.

Ottoman Empire

You move to occupy Albania, and launch an audacious mountain assault on Venetia.

Code: (Battle of Venetia) [Select]
4+1 v. 2+2
Italian Army destroyed.

6+1 v. 2+2
Italian Army destroyed.
Ottoman victory!
Fortification destroyed.

The operation is a complete success.

Nah, you're supposed to have 12 armies total. The spreadsheet was a mistake because I didn't take into account the fact that you lost a populous province.
