How da heck Cacame got into the fortress mode? I tried to retire my gobo adventurer in fortress, it was fine, I greeted residents, they were friendly. When I unretired fortress, adventurer and his companions were hostile and attacked my dwarfs on sight. Any thoughts?

Cacame was a historical figure not an adventurer; the issue for you is that your goblin adventurer was not a part of the civilization that your Dwarves were from. Cacame was the King of the same civ, I imagine getting your goblin to a position of administration in the Dwarven civilization would allow your goblin to immigrate and integrate peacefully.

Yeah, but you're not. You are just a random gobbo.

Precisely. One can assume that the moment an adventurer ceases to be controlled by unseen forces they revert to their base natural instincts: PILLAGE DORF FORT
