Your words are so much butter in my ears.
* Tiruin writes down new idiom in notebook. Yay English words!
...Intriguing is the presence of butter in ears. I wonder what the origin was? Sheb! As the French, maybe you've an idea here! :D

Also, the correct phrase is honey instead of butter; I just mangled it for a laugh.
You had me searching the internet and the local library on English idioms for that x3
Thanks though. T'was a good search.

So, I'm wondering, should I just crown Toaster as winner?

I say no, but my vote probably doesn't count.

They're still riding the Monroe Doctrine and isolationism at this point.

My other idea was to hand over the whole of France to 10ebbor10.

I'd say yes, because I really was deliberating with Ebbor in secret. :P
I mean, count all those lands! He has Italy!

UNTIL HE ATTACKED ICELAND! (Really, that was the only turning point there...and parking a fleet at the Gulf of Bothnia for some reason where the only purpose it has there is very adjacent to undefended Russian Territory...given that it was moved there. But I didn't ask first :-X oops).

Once, again, I must say I had no other choice. Iceland signed an alliance with Germany. This means that they could Icelandic fleets to cross, seriously compromising my defenses.

...You could've talked it over at least ._.
That would've gotten me to ponder on what you'd do. Because thinking on what would a1s do, it would...reasonably seem like the Icelandic fate would also happen to the Empire sooner or later given 'we had consorted with the enemy'. And such and such.

IIRC, I was not available when the deal was signed and discussed.

And that analogy doesn't really hold. You had no alliance with me, no fleets in threathening positions, and couldn't be crushed by a single suprise strike

Its more like intense foresight given the technical win condition of the game. :P I'm not an aggressive player (other than Glowcat's ONE GAME. That was a wholly different story.)
