Was doing very well and then a rogue planet came swinging by and fucked up orbital mechanics for ERRYBODY. Average leader points went from 800-1000 down to about 150.

Why would you actually aim for the leader?

awesome game, made it to leader once by staying in a stable orbit long enough to rack up the points. Only thing is I haven't been able to kill any leaders yet, can't figure out how to aim for them.

You aim for the leader because it has a point counter, yeah. If there was a 'total points' counter that had some purpose more people would just try to get the most points every time, but the only thing that stacks that's definitely positive is leader kills.

I only played this game for 30 minutes or so and I could still see orbits when I went to sleep, I think it might have some use as a sleep aid.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Field of vision kept wanting to turn clockwise even when I stopped playing. Kind of like how my vision would keep trying to scroll after a long session of DDR or Guitar Hero.

Managed almost 3000 points, then flew off the map trying to avoid a collision. Fun game

Fun little game, and very satisfying when you manage to get a nice intersecting orbit on a leader. One issue though is that there's always a handful of players that ignore the orbital mechanics and just keep launching in a straight line from the planet at high speed, like a missile, in order to kill leaders. They'll launch/suicide over and over again until they finally hit you. And it's annoying.

Woo, I got into being leader. xXxw33dxXx makes his debut.
Also this game is harder than it was by descrition. Mostly in that you can only accelerate forward along your orbit.

heh, this is pretty fun. Was leader for a bit, got to 1805. It's fun watching people fling themselves against the wall while peacfully cruising in high orbit. You guys can't aim. I finally boosted at the wrong time and squished.

Moon almost hit Earth, and since everyone couldn't navigate around Moon, all ships explode. I almost managed to do a "8" shaped orbit around Moon and Earth but Moon moves just too fast.
