Quick! Run to the left, then for 6 seconds, then to the right for 15, then to the left for 5, then turn right twice and keep heading in that direction until you cant hear them searching for you anymore

You run off in a zig-zag pattern through the brush. Your friend follows you closely, and doesn't fall behind. You can hear bullets being fired into the forest, and you hear the one downed man in the clearing let out a scream followed by a gunshot. It isn't long before the pistol fire fades and you seem to be a good distance away from the clearing.

You wander around for an hour or two before finding a small cave. There is a bear laying just inside.

Shoot bear, possibly attracting attention of thugs

Start a large fire, using as many wet leaves and the such to make it make as much smoke as possible, right outside the cave. Then wake the bear, then run!

This is a really cool game, by the way. Good narration and pacing!

You turn to the man following you. He's built pretty small, but muscular. Probably not the fastest runner, but you'd wager he'd be of decent strength. He wears regular clothing. Cargo shorts, a red tee, and tennis shoes. "I know we don't know each other, but there's no time for it right now. What should we do about that bear?" you ask the man.

"Hell, I dunno." he replies, thinking, then points to the top of the cave. "If I can get myself on top of that cave, maybe I can roll one of those giant ass rocks down onto him. That way we don't have to shoot."

Tell follower to divert the bear's attention

"Sounds like a good plan, I guess." you say.

He nods, and says, "If he sees me, shoot his big ass. I don't wanna be bear food today, alright? If not, get him to come just outside of it on my signal." You nod back. With that, he takes off to climb up to the top of the cave. The bear doesn't notice him on the way up, but as soon as he starts trying to push the boulder, the bear wakes up. It roars once, pretty loudly, and begins coming out of the cave when it notices you.

"Now!" you yell. The boulder comes down right on the bear's shoulders. It drops, obviously wounded. The boulder rolls off, but the bear doesn't get up. It writhes around slowly, and roars in pain.

Options:
Kill bear with knife, possibly risking injury
Kill bear with AK-47, possibly attracting thugs
Wait for bear to stop moving before entering cave
Walk past bear and investigate cave
