"You didn't sound too polite to me," she replies with a huff.

Ebene rolls her eyes and grins, "Aw, come on Runde, lighten up a bit. Would it hurt for you to have some fun in a while."

Runden suddenly slaps Ebene in the face and shouts, "My name is not Runde! And don't think I've forgotten what you've been saying about me!" Even as she gets hit hard and knocked out of her seat, Ebene is still grinning from ear to ear. Runden doesn't make any move to help her partner up, and stays glued in her seat while shooting an angry glare at Rat.

There's... actually a good number of decent men present. What? You thought that any old thug was accepted into one of the two most powerful crime families this side of the tracks? Nah, they have honor.

Rat rubs the bridge of his nose.
"I am sorry for coming off that way. It was not my intention to do so. And I'M offended you would think that it was."
Rat says looking quite offended.

But are they pure men is the question.

Runden looks equally offended but then again she has a good reason, for Rat was talking about how haughty she was and needed to get laid earlier. "I'm equally sorry for offending you and assuming too much from what you said," she replies, mostly because Rat has apologized and not because she's actually sorry.

Having finally finished off all that food, Ebene leans back in her seat, contentedly wiping off her hands and mouth until they're somewhat cleaner. She asks Rat, "What was the name of that drink again? The one that made constructs happy?"

I did mean the first part when I said that. And most of them a fairly attractive. There's enough variety for Rosphaeon to find what ever type of guy she wants probably.

Rat thinks for a while before speaking.
"Creaming Russian. Yes it sounds dirty but a lot of drinks do."

Ebene chuckles, "Don't worry, we're officers. We can be pretty crude ourselves." She exchanges a glance with Runden and then continues, "How about ordering one for me? And for Runden too, just for her to try."

Kyle turns to Ebene and tilts his head.
"Ebene, I can't remember? You guys need to order them yourselves. I'll still pay though."

Ebene looks back at Rat with a confused look on her face, "Uh, yeah. It's me, Ebene. Thanks for offering to pay for everything. Again." She signals for a nearby server, and places her order. Afterwards she gets up and grins, "I'm going to go check out the dancefloor. Let me know when my drink arrives, okay?" She does just that, leaving the table to bump and grind dance causally with random strangers.

After Ebene leaves Runden looks around for a moment, and then leans in closer to Rat to hiss menacingly, "Why are you doing all of this? Why are you being so nice to my partner?"

Rat frowns at Runden.
"The same reason I'm nice to every one. It's what any young gentleman would do. May I ask why you're so hostile to me? It is rather rude to do so. Unless you're thinking I'm a criminal and you think I'm fond of mixing my free time and my job. That is just plain rude. I simply wanted to have some plesant conversation with two lovely women. Is that a crime?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"You answered your own question," she says simply, and leans back in her seat as she continues to glare at Rat. She stays like that for a couple moments, and then suddenly sighs and uncrosses her arms. "I'm sorry for being so rude. Let's try to start over. I'm Runden Hügel, it's nice to meet you," she reaches across the table and offers to shake Rat's hand.

Meanwhile, Ebene is totally getting her groove on, if anybody else in the club wants to RP with her.

Rat smiles at her and shakes her hand.
"I'm Rat. But my friends call me Rat."
Rat smiles at his little joke.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"And why do they call you that?" she asks, not smiling at all.

Rat chuckles.
"Because it's my name. Why else would they call me that?"

A small smile creeps onto Runden's face. "Oh. It does make sense."

Rat leans back in his seat.
"There ya go! Hey, you should try that drink Ebene got. It is quite good."
