Well, to be fair, a lot of our characters seem to be adventurers and similar types, who generally drink the day away anyways. So it does kinda fit. Everyone else has a drinking problem though.

You know, for all of the joking that Kyle is a memetic sex god, can we at least recognize that Lionan hits on everyone else just as much? The only difference between them is that Lionan gets shot down more, and doesn't have people randomly lusting after him either. And they look different too, but that's pretty much a given anyways.

Alternatively: He doesn't have the time to form a mecha musume harem, as he's too busy turning Magisteady into his own private harem. It makes perfect sense, trust me.

Age: 32
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Description: Fairly tall, pale skin, usually wears a thick robe (Little actual reason; he's just something of a showoff). His hair is black, though he has a few gray hairs. It's a miracle if he's ever seen without at least one spot singed somewhere on his body.
Personality and Background: A native of Madness, Hiro's lead a shockingly unremarkable life up into adulthood. At that point, he began studying magic, taking a particular interest in runes. In addition, he's spent many nights staying up late, drinking, causing him to suffer from some degree of alcoholism. He may or may not be somewhat insane. Tends to ramble on, and has a tendency to perform Drunk Magic, against the wishes of literally everybody who doesn't want Creation itself to be unmade.
Magic and Equipment: Knows and can scribe a number of runes. Usually keeps a dagger on him.
Magic: Drawn runes, a few bits of Freeform Magic. Mainly specializes in fire, but uses other types of elements.
Equipment: Keeps a pistol on him and loaded, as well as a few spare clips.
Other: Somewhat insane. Doesn't tend to be violent, but suffers from bipolar disorder, and occasionally has delusions.
