You should pricecheck *before* making the item. There is really no point in price checking after they have been made  .

Ah, you are new to the forums, I didn't notice! Basically the only sort of Admin/mods here are Toddy One and Threetoe, who don't exactly check down here often. As they tend to be busy actually making/updating/fixing DF, they tend to only be called to the really big problems and don't go around checking the FGRPG to make sure everything is ship-shape. KJP usually does a good job of keeping his threads in check, anyway.

Although they did ban GWG. Which was kinda one of the largest things they've ever done in FGRP, I'd say.

Pretty much, yeah. Though you need not worry, curently you are not even close to that.

I was already kinda aware of that fact, but I thought they took action more often, since I saw a few bans in other threads. I guess they were more of an exception.

The final straw was an argument on the definition of 'civil war', but he had been formally warned a good seven times before that for similar petty squabbles. Seven warnings is more than anybody had ever been given, but he wasn't showing any improvement or learning his lesson. He was sometimes a nice, sane guy and held plenty of clout around here, but nobody is allowed to break the rules.

Eh, not quite; while he was a crapton more argumentative than Stirk, he was less trolly. More like a worse version of me, in all honesty. With less self-control, less prone to blowing up over things (though when he did it was far worse, and the sort of stuff Toady would delete, and I've only had one argument thing in which Toady deleted some of my posts, I think; if there was more than one I think the rest involved GWG at the least; I usually manage to calm down enough by the time I finish typing that I can realize I shouldn't post it), more nitpicky and willing to argue technical details to try and be right instead of trying to resolve the debate.

Imagine the worst aspects of me, Andres, and Stirk, and then double it, and then make him not actually stupid just bullheaded, which makes it even worse since he was right a decent amount of the time which only reinforced his own ideas about how to debate and...well...you get GreatWyrmGold. Good guy, just too much trouble for it to be worth on the forums, especially when he would blow up.
