"It only cost the God of Man two essence before getting half the gods on his side. There was no reason he could not purchase it himself..."
"I could either pay 2 Essence for the DEATH BATTLE Plane, or everyone (including me) could pay 0. That's the reason. Now unless you plan to never use the plane yourself, I suggest you just be grateful if you're not going to help."

The Gruen governments are asked why they create cults that specialise in eating Humans and not other sapient races. It's actually kind of racist.

15 of the gas giant moons should be Moon-like moons - barren and with no useful minerals under the surface. The Essence saved there can be used to make at least some of the other moons habitable/hospitable to Keshan/Slythan life.

Hate to break it to you but the Gruen didn't create cults specializing in eating humans. Gruen ate some humans just like they eat every other race, including themselves. It was humans who created Gruen worshiping cults after the Gruen started eating them because the humans were either in awe of their power or craved it for themselves. If I recall correctly, they seemed to have gained the notion that by worshiping Gruen, they might become more like the Gruen. They also seemed to hope that I would make them stronger like the Gruen or remove their hunger. I partially granted their desire to become more like the Gruen by making Spores edible but I never had any intention of aiding in the latter wish as it goes against my sphere. The Gruen took advantage of the humans' desire to become more like them and used it as an easy source of food, which is where I believe you are getting that particular misconception from.

A treaty is presented to Grauel and the Gruen governments. Most points can be discussed and/or altered.

In exchange for peace, the Gruen governments must adhere to the following:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

"I do not plan to use it myself. Wasting energy, bullets and time for what amounts to nothing? Not to mention essence? You could have gotten everyone together to do something useful, but choose to spend that influence making a play pen"
"It could be used to prevent wa.....wasting what now? Bullets? The hell are those? But anyway, the plane could be used to prevent wars. Armies could be teleported inside and have them fight it out. Because of the properties of the plane, any who die in it are automatically transported to where they came in the manner that they were in when they entered the DEATH BATTLE Plane. Battles can be fought without (permanent) death, land and buildings will remain unscathed, and most importantly: no civilian deaths."

"Exactly. Why would I want that? My sphere, changed into form of game? Death is already practically meaningless, simply sending them to the next world, this would make combat a joke between nations. Why would they follow my sphere fully if it meant nothing? Aside from that, you neglect to think of what would happen if something came that was not attracted to your little game, such as the Null. This will only dull the mortal's already lax combat skills."

Yaos: Lette heals everyone who was hurt in the unexpected flour-air explosion. One person who was particularly close has a rather difficult-to-heal torn lung, but everyone can get back to living their mundane lives.

The scientists work on a faster-burning incendiary grenade. It seems that most of them would rather be completing a contest for a new road design, but they manage to shorten the amount of time required to burn at the expense of a minor increase in blast radius and a small decrease in damage.

Malik does not have enough power to stop a river from flooding without a high chance of burning out.

Large Gruen empire: "As we said before, we have no interest in enforcing a restrictive policy. We have even less interest in wasting our manpower keeping the already-discontent rebels from razing your towns in protest."
Small Gruen empire: "The human-eating population is low enough as it is. You only stir up trouble by imposing restrictions despite the continued dominance of the plant-eating and earth-eating Gruen. Are you trying to cause rioting Gruen to eat humans to prove a point, upstart god?"
Small Gruen kingdom: "The humans already know from common sense that being consumed does not make one stronger. Your terms help only the least intelligent of the humans. We additionally argue that the Gruen cults actually do empower their human members to go beyond their limits."
Small Gruen city-state: "Perhaps I would be more willing to listen if you could offer two cities."
Large Gruen empire: "We'll consider negotiating with you only if you submit a polite apology to all the Gruen states for terrorizing your close neighbors."

(Proposal added, Grauel: Vote counted)
Grauel: This iteration of the feast has brought a dozen priests and a much larger bowl. The priests place the bowl before the *Throne of Hunger and watch in silence. The people of the town watch outside a fence erected to preserve the holy site.

"DEATH BATTLE Plane. Battles can be fought without (permanent) death, land and buildings will remain unscathed, and most importantly: no civilian deaths."

The name is kind of ironic considering the lack of actual death isn't it? Although, I find the potential results of individuals being killed in horrible, gruesome ways and being sent back to life with full memories of what happened quite interesting. If that doesn't give them serious anxiety issues for the rest of life, I can't imagine what will.

Grauel sets down upon the throne and eats the feast. Upon completing his meal he waits patiently, eyeing those around, to see if any requests would be made by those present.

"I oppose P30.00. This would make proposals a matter of who votes first. The time it takes for a proposal to stagnate is longer than it takes for a god to go to stasis, after all. However, the system could indeed use improvement, for that I propose any votes uncast when a proposal would stagnate are counted as abstains, thus resolving the proposal. This has a similar effect to Yaos' proposal, turning the technique of not voting to stagnate the proposal into a mere filibuster, but still leaving everyone with the chance to vote."

"Well they do die, it's just not a permanent death. Also, because the neither you nor the Gruen governments have accepted the treaty, it's gonna be war. Sorry." (To be honest I think the GM might purposely be playing the Gruen the way he is to use the war mechanics he's worked on IS DOING A VERY GOOD JOB OF ROLEPLAYING THE GRUEN GOVERNMENTS, OF COURSE.)

(Azem: -2E)
Azem: The Festive Underqueen has announced a great, international banquet and trade show filled with exotic foods! Dwarves from all settlements, many Mountwyrms, a few Gem Dragons, a crowd of Gruen, and even some Night Elves have arrived to join. This event brings much gold to her queendom.

You make a random treasure ship sapient. This amuses the traders greatly, and they decide to make it a paid exhibit during the time spent at port.

Grauel: Only one priest dares to approach you and says "I want to be given the Ultimate Hunger."
The Lords of Hunger murmur suspiciously.

(Cim: Vote and proposal added)

Yaos: The GM smiles menacingly, exposing his sharp, pointed teeth, and whispers "Do not meddle in the affairs of GMs, for rocks may fall, and your character will die." This susurration sends a chill down all the gods' spines (regardless of whether their primary form requires or has a spine).

Yaos has declared war on the Gruen!
