"Oh, is that all? Yeah, there should be plenty. Let's hit the town."

: That's more like it.  You should lighten up, bro. Nobody wants to kill us today.

The three went looking for shops around Ennar. They found the blacksmiths, weaponsmiths, bowyers, tome shops and all of those had no stock at all, having been requested by the armies, even medicine and magic jewelry. Luckily, they found a jewelry store that dealt with the regular, non-magical stuff. The jeweler was surprised when he saw customers.

Ah, I didn't expect anyone to come by today. I'm glad I opened the shop. Can I help you with anything?

[Sirus]

"Looking for wedding rings. Matching ones, preferably." Rings were supposed to match, right? That made the most sense.

[Solymr]

Ah, wedding rings, not engagement rings then? I have some right here, simple bands of silver, gold, engraved rings... But the greatest ones are these.

The jeweler brought up a few display cases showing matching rings of various materials and details, and then brought up a single box with a pair of intricate rings.

A pair of pure gold rings encrusted with precious stones. One of them is encrusted with rubies and the other with blue sapphires, made to complement each other like the perfect couple.

[Sirus]

Harlan looks at his companions. "Thoughts? I know more about st--acquiring rings than I do about what a couple of newlyweds would prefer."

[Twinwolf]

Catherine took a look.

"I think the pair fits them perfectly. Tomik usually wears blue, it seems, and Lilly has that red scarf..."

[Solymr]

Harold examined the encrusted rings from afar.

: They'll definitely like those... It's like they were made from them. How expensive are they?

It will be 2000 gold for both of them. Sorry, but you can't just buy one of them.

Harold's only reaction was to blink and turn to Harlan waiting for his approval.

[Sirus]

"Do we have that much? I haven't checked the collective purse recently."

[Solymr]

: We sure do! And there will be some left even. So, do we get those?

[Sirus]

The thief grinned.

"Yeah, these seem like a good match. Well, that was easier than I expected!"

[Solymr]

Harold paid up, took the rings and the three exited the store.

: I know, right? No haggling, no trying to screw anyone over, no surprises... Feels nice for a change.

[Sirus]

"Oh, in most situations I would have haggled. Expensive items like those are usually marked-up quite a bit so the seller can make some profit. In this case however, they're pretty much perfect.

"Well, it looks like we've got some unexpected time on our hands. Any suggestions?"

[GiglameshDespair]

Ketsuki sought Albert out. It had struck her she actually knew very little about the priest.
"Ah, Albert. Greetings."

[Ochita]

Albert had stayed behind, giving a friendly negative to going ring shopping with Harold once some of the others came downstairs. He looked around, making sure to angle his back to the stairway as he pulled out a somewhat tatty book, hands hiding the title. He had just gotten into reading when Ketsuki greeted him, closing the book and giving Ketsuki an almost shaky smile.
  "Ah, hello there Ketsuki.. Did you sleep well?"

Harold thought for a second.

: Can we just... not do anything? We can wander around for a couple of hours or so until we give the newlyweds the rings.
