Abandonment Issues
« on: October 06, 2014, 09:47:47 pm »

So, when you abandon, are people supposed to take all the coffers and cabinets I build in the bedrooms? All the other furniture is still there, but every container is gone!

And the merchants parked a wagon where a natural wall and doors used to be.
And now someone is talking to the wagon...
Multiple wagons actually. I didn't even have merchants over, what? A whole years worth of merchants got mixed up inside my fortress. A wagon is stuck in a single tile hallway! 20Z levels down a single tile staircase!

In an unrelated note, wine can be used as a melee weapon.

You should make a bug report on that.

It's also happened to other people before.

Either its a straight-up bug, or you've got duplicate RAWs.
That tends to screw over EVERYTHING. Makes for some !!FUN!! though.

In an unrelated note, wine can be used as a melee weapon.

And now DF is a soap opera.

"Like sands through the hourglass... so are the Dwarves of Our Lives."

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow dwarf is either a fool or a coward. Whoever can not take care of themself without that law is both. For a wounded dwarf shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

I saw someone chatting with a wagon trapped in a wall, so I beat him to death with some dwarven wine. Stupid elven merchants...

And the raws are normal. Just bugs I guess.

In my retired fort dwarves removed chests entirely, and put cabinets into doors. I didn't think of filing a report and now I've deleted this world, but this is what happened.

Cool, but wouldn't this likely lead to tongues having a '[SPEACH]' tag, and thus via necromancy we would have nearly unkillable reanimated tongues following necromancers spamming 'it is sad but not unexpected'?
