Three people in Chryssa's immediate view seem a little twitchy at the moment, as though itching to get out some energy, a rather large girl with a staff, a smaller hooded guy whose weapon she can't see, and a guy with a sword and shield.

Indigo nods.
"Goodbye. And may you have safe travels."

She nods back and her smile is a little brighter.  The instructor monitoring them shuffles her along.

Chryssa approaches the girl with the staff.
"Want to fight?"

Indigo nods and walks away towards the rest of his team.

"Straight to the point, huh?" She grins, "I've been itching to do something since that kid got attacked, so sure, I guess I'll take the test.  Though, don't expect to win alright?"

Chryssa stays straight-faced, and thinks. She gets ready for combat.
Good, cocky. I can catch her off guard and finish her quickly.

The two of you head down to one of the arenas which proceeds to rise, the crowd seems very interested in seeing a fair fight.
She takes a combat stance with her staff that you don't recognize, she points it straight up.  Something glitters in her hand as she puts her left hand on the staff.

Chryssa draws Jaiko, firing an explosive round behind her to propel herself towards the girl, simply placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. If the girl were to attack, Chryssa would activate her semblance to blast the force from the attack right back at her.

Even through the rushing wind, Chryssa hears the staff click, a massive ice crystal appears from beneath the girl's staff, forming a wall that Chryssa deftly avoids running into, she couldn't even get near the girl as she was encased in ice.  She notices small holes in the ice through which the girl takes aim with her staff.

Chryssa fires both revolvers on Jaiko, by spinning it in her hand. Aiming to make a cloud of moisture from the heat of the exploding ice, sliding underneath and aiming Jaiko's blade up as she does so.

Prompt: You are fighting against a Grimm hoard consisting of 5 boarbatusks, a small pack of roughly 7 beowolves and a young king taijitsu.  What do you do?

I begin by using my semblance to create strong crescents of wind to hit the larger beowolf targets and to sweep them off their feet. The boarbatusks have a tendency to charge to I sidestep them and hit them from the side rather than dealing with them from the front. When the boarbatusks are about finished, the beowolves should be coming up and I do my best to separate them. I have the advantage of a longer reach as I have the ability to throw my sickles and have them return to me so I use that ability accordingly to deal with the beowolves. The king taijitu is a larger target than the others and presents no simple solution to killing it. I avoid its attacks and create openings where possible to whittle down its stamina before I either finish it off or have the backup of my team.

Lloyd sighs as he finally finishes the exam and turns it in, leaving the examination room.

Chryssa's bullets weaken the ice shield, but do not break it.  The girl fires through a small opening, but the concussion from the shot collapses the barrier.  She loads her staff with something shiny again, this time Chryssa catches that it is red.

Unfortunately for Lloyd, as good as his essay was, his understanding of Grimm anatomy was not up to snuff. He correctly answered 15 of the 50 questions, it looks like he will be stuck in the Grimm 101 course.

Chryssa fires behind her, launching like a rocket towards the girl, with the blade of Jaiko pointed forward, activating her semblance if she is struck at.

With the knowledge that he failed, Lloyd leaves the room greatly saddened and goes wherever he's supposed to be.
