"Why follow the drones? We were told to make our way to the school, so lets do that."

"Y-Yeah I get that..." Lloyd wished for a bit more of an answer but decided to not push it the question.

"That did the trick! One color down, two to go. The blues seem tissue-papery enough, but there's enough of them that I don't think we can thin their numbers without bullets, which I can't use. Still, if you start shooting, I can try to mop up whatever you leave behind."

"Knowing our luck, trying to destroy those things might be our initiation. Also, we have other hunters and huntresses to worry about. I'd like to abandon them, but I'd also prefer not to be stuck on the only two man team in history."

Justine runs towards the forest, in Bulkwark's general direction. If any robot tries to stop her, she will try to jump over it and shoot at it with Anathema from above.

"True enough. Find a pair fighting bots and then we run?"

"Well my dad was a huntsman and he was a pretty cool guy. Same with my grandpa and I think the tradition began with my great grandpa. I sounded pretty cool too and I didn't want to break a 3 generation tradition so uh... Yeah I guess that's why..."

Amber clicks her tongue, looking at all the robots around in the forest.

"This won't be easy...stupid hunter school...Maybe if I...?"

She squints, looking up at Slate, on top of the ship, then sighs with a slump to her shoulders, and braces herself for having to meet someone new. She never knew what they might think of her...uncoiling her weapon, she lets it fly out with a flick of her wrist, the slightly-weighted tip coiling around a tree stuck in the wreckage of the plane, and with a sharp jerk, practically flew up to the vantage point where the Hunter was looking about. She waited a second or two for him to notice her, then spoke when he still didn't realize she was there.

"...Hi."

Slate jumps a bit when the knife-rope-thing goes by, then turns to the source, prepared for a fight.
Seeing Amber, he lowers the gun and chuckles a bit.
"Scared the crap outta me there."
He's somewhat shouting/talking loudly, but that's only beacuse of her distance.

Cordo scratches his head at this.
"I dunno... I figured your hammer-blade might have a gun mode on it or something. But if it doesn't... Welp, let's go find us a gunner."

"Interesting. So what'd you make your weapons with?"

"Oh you know just normal stuff... No fancy folding tech, just dust and steel and that kind of thing... Uh... How about you?"
