Chryssa picks up Falu, and rushes off towards the headmistress's office.

Falu does not resist, though the look on her face is like that of a fox cornered by a hunter.

Ian shakes his head.
"It's fine."

"Ahem" she looks away, clearly embarrassed.

"I apologize, but I don't have time to exactly explain right now."

(59) The two girls get rapidly escape the quarantine ward, getting a few strange looks from the afflicted, but no one stops them. A young woman in rather revealing clothing (Maeve) is leaning against a wall outside of the headmistresses office.  The book is open on the table when they enter.

Ian is silent for the rest of the walk. Maybe he's waiting for Gale to say something. Maybe he's thinking. Maybe he's playing tic-tac-toe in his head. Who knows.

Before long Ian and Gale are at the door to his room, and she looks almost as she did back when she was on the bed, eyes slitted, tense like a coiled spring.
"U-um, I..." she suddenly explodes into motion, kissing Ian lightly on the cheek and retreating  back into her tense stance, almost as if she wants to do it again, but terrified to do so.

Ian stands there looking dumbfounded at the bold display. He reaches up to touch his cheek before smiling slightly and turning to face Gale.
"My my~ that was quite bold of you Gale. Would you like me to return the favor?"

Maeve blinks at Falu, before peeking into the door to listen in to the conversation.

Ian stands there looking dumbfounded at the bold display. He reaches up to touch his cheek before smiling slightly and turning to face Gale.
"My my~ that was quite bold of you Gale. Would you like me to return the favor?"

Her gaze remains firmly locked on Ian, and some incoherent noises come out of her throat.

Falu stands where she is set down, waiting for someone to speak. She is still wrapped in the covers.

Ian lets out a little 'he' as he leans in close.
"What was that?"

"Your friend thinks that she has found something relating to the attack earlier today, and to you." she glances at the book but flinches away, "However, we can't read it and are hoping that you would be willing to try."

Maeve blinks at Falu, before peeking into the door to listen in to the conversation.

Maeve sees and hears everything.

Ian lets out a little 'he' as he leans in close.
"What was that?"

Her breath is ragged as her lips move wordlessly.

Ian reaches up and runs a thumb across Gale's cheek.
"Hey, calm down. Take a deep breath okay?"

Falu looks at the book and looks back at the teacher, ^{_{"B-but what makes you think that I can r-read that?"}}

Ian reaches up and runs a thumb across Gale's cheek.
"Hey, calm down. Take a deep breath okay?"

She does so and you get a fantastic look at her fangs.  Apparently, the ones that she had filed down either fell out and grew again, or simply continued to grow, because they are as long as her fingers and collapse into her gums whenever she closes her mouth.  She is shivering.

Falu looks at the book and looks back at the teacher, ^{_{"B-but what makes you think that I can r-read that?"}}

The professor closes and lifts the book as she brings it to  you. "This is the tale of the Grimm Huntsman, a hero by some tellings, a monster by others, a man who patently refused to become a monster or became the most horrific monster of all.  You suffer a fraction of his curse and much like the attack earlier, this book knows no author, thus your friend concluded that it was meant for you to read.  The notes in the back are in a script that neither of us can understand, and we were hoping that you, the most affected would be able to help us... please."
