To be fair, your characters were a social Darwinist super soldier who looked down on everyone else for being too weak to protect others and some guy who kept throwing knives at people to get noticed, and then had the misfortune to talk to the emotionless girl.

If trying to introduce your characters by gimmicky ways (*cough*throwing knives at them by accident*cough*) doesn't work, try a "Hi, I'm {insert name} here. Who are you?" approach? :P
And PLEASE, try to do it to someone who isn't emotionless, evil, insane or otherwise not receptive to that kind of crap.

Hey if not for the fact I've already rolled I'd be up for teaming up with you man. Plus there's the whole my guy can maneuver 3D space well so going through the trees won't be too much of a problem...

I've got class now though so what I'll do is if RPG doesn't show up between now and end of class than I'll just drop that roll and team up with you haha

Yeah, asking people to randomly roll for their teammates seems to have fallen through.  Anyone can roll for partner now or attack a robot, be sure to indicate which color you attack first.
