Yeah, give me a bit and I'll check. I'm being held up right now.

If he's got a shield, it's 1d8

If not(as in it counts as two-handed), it's 1d10

EDIT: I should make sure I'm reading the latest post before replying

Think about this for a moment...

How is he going to swing his hand... with both hands?

I just realized something while messing with a Katakana keyboard...

The Katakana for Maruko is マルコ, which looks kind of blocky and like something I could see in DnD or Dragon Age style Dwarven runes. Meanwhile, Katoya, カトヤ, looks kind of curvy and elfish.
Kind of a coincidence, but I just wanted to point it out.

Cool. Now I want to see if I can write it(I've practiced a little bit of it for a single word for a game I want to make, called Mekkendo, and my mother(who took Japanese as her major in college) said it was okay).

What about Genmori? I'm still kinda trying to decide whether Maruko is the family name as follows normal Japanese naming conventions, or the given name because Fantasy world.

ゲンモリ
Ge-n-mo-ri

A little different, but still kind of runic.

Also, I've apparently forgotten that misses still do damage. You guys should be doing 1 damage every miss since you're level 1.

I was kind of hoping that Ethnon's funny names for spells would result in much more... interesting effects, at least cosmetically-speaking.

I was having a hard time thinking of something strange for such a relatively simple spell. But, yes, I was thinking the same thing.

I was going to have Duncan start to freak out, but forgot.

Well, the idea of Inscrutable Innards of Inzu that I had was largely that it does a wild organ shuffle for the duration of the spell. I can share a set of notes on all of the renamed ones that matter if you'd like.

I thought I told Descan to tell Immaterial to update y'all on my condition, but I guess it got lost somewhere down the line.

Over the weekend, I came down with a nasty case of acute appendicitis. I was in the hospital for about 3 days getting it dealt with, and then I spent another two recovering. I wish I'd been able to give you guys some warning, but what's done is done, and although I'm still recovering, I'd like to update the thread again before I slip away for another few days.

Now I feel even MORE guilty about being a bad GM and not updating my games,

Huh, did my attack fail? Or did I not do damage? O_o

I must have rolled high tho, to get the bonus effect...
