II: What do you think of the Pathfinder style Cantrips home rules that have been bandied around recently? Basically, Cantrips/Orisons can be used an unlimited number of times a day.

I suggest CERTAIN Orisons and Cantrips should have unlimited castings. Others not so much. Cure Minor Wounds comes to mind.

What do people think of taking a feat that allows you to cast unlimited cantrips, as long as you have one unused spell slot (or prepared spell that has not been cast) of first level or higher?

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Depends on the spells and levels, but even with a slot and a feat cost, that sounds quite exploitable.

I recommend making the spells that do almost nothing (prestidigitation comes to mind) unlimited, so that you don't truly expend a spell just to turn your hat red.

Okay, then. I'll allow you to take the feat Cantrip Mastery which lets you cast cantrips that do "almost nothing" an unlimited number of times per day.

Sort of Eh/Meh, since Bards don't get 1st level spells until level 2.

Alright, Rincewind's sheet's ready to go. Backstory/Personality is for tomorrow.

I have ask: II, is basing my character off of a certain dead and incredibly famous pop star okay with you? I'll be serious with my RP, except for the occasional dance fight. The character itself won't be a copy of the King of Pop, so no concern there.

It's probably not a good time to mention that I'm considering taking Dirgesinger and Undead Leadership to replicate Thriller.

They did dancefighting in Erfworld, and I'll let in in here. It's the Rule of Funny.

One buff buffoon, one paladin of lost gods, one cheery kleptomaniac thief and Michael Jackson.

This is looking good.

Buff Buffoon? I take offence to that. He's smarter than your average human... He's just lacks common sense and can't speak very well.

You seem to have forgotten 264-year-old Agent Smith.

Or, at least, what I plan for him to be, anyway.
